    Um dai-gonarthis? He doesn't seem to be physically manipulating anyone. Moelach also doesn't affect emotions. He gives precognitive death messages.

    I believe they have a supernatural aspect to them, but it has been mentioned that spren bond easier to those mentally traumatized.

    Remember thatt copper has the ability to block out bronze in a cloud, but more mysteriously the ability to block out emotional manipulation. Could copper protect you from unmade influence or shard influences? Could it block out a nahel bond for the smoker? I think copper will be a pretty valuable metal when the Cosmere starts to interact because of the unlimited potential for investiture interactions.

    We know that Aimia was targeted since it relied on the Radiants to defend it, and after the recreance it became an easy target. Maybe the Black Fisher influenced their greed? What do you mean, only 9 heralds have broken? And also, if the sibling was unmade, that wouldn't have been from the heralds' minds then.

    Ohhh... this is a good one. The unmade's ability definitely has that connection to person theme, but it doesn't appear to affect the spiritweb for all of them. I believe it is implied that a nahel bond alters your spiritweb. So does any bond. If the Black fisher is related to taking away pain then what did he do to aimia?

    Okay i couldnt resist. I am making this Absorption rpg post before i go to sleep. 

    I might PM some people and ask for any epic ideas from them. I know you have good ideas. 

     

    It was not long before Absorption would be known as a god. 

    The public had followed the same twisted ideas of Insolence. That made it particularily hard to gain control of the city for Aerie. The look on Aerie's face was so utterly annoyed that saying a single word could probably break him.

    It hurt Recapture. He knew how long Aerie had spent on those secret plans. He had seen them, over 3 years ago. 

    Isolence had already recruited a mentalist-fear based high epic who decided that now would be the time to invade. And by recruited Recapture meant allied with. Insolence believed that sacrifices had to be made. 

    So between him and Aerie, he decided to go and subdue Cataclysm.

    It was raining vigorously. The puddles showed Recapture's hidden reflection. The city lights flared harshly, providing the only light avalible in sight. At night the city was still wide awake. 

    The streets were quieter since Absorption's rule.  Even during his rule, most people tried to avoid the streets, making them one of the quietest places. Now, the streets were quieter than silent.

    It was a result of both fear and anticipation. 

    California had been forever climate changed by an epic to end the drought 2 years ago caused by a water epic. When the water epic was killed by Absorption, she had sucked up all the water for 50 miles. 

    the city lasted 4 days withoit water before riots broke out. Then, Absorption was forced to make a move.

    Recapture reached the meeting place of Insolence's gang. 

    He could now return here at any time. 

    With a click, Recapture returned back to the dead god palace, dry, as he was when he was last at the palace.

    The resistance was subdued. 

    And the best part? 

    Recapture didn't even need to be there. 

    He was already there.

    Alrighty people who don't read this - here is my nice little mini-spiral of things today.

    1. Absorption RPG thingy has a new chapter! I haveto convince myself not to write more of it. It is my life long goal to finally write a story like this. I don't think anyone follows it but that doesn't matter.

    2. I got in an arguement with a friend of a friend and got kicked off that discord server. Gah.

    3. I played even more Colorful Stage (The videogame) and it is soooo fun. Even if I get a C rank on every song I played, it still is fun. 

    4. I coded hangman. It didn't work. I hate programming. :P

    5. I am nearing 500 posts! I'll post an ultimate 500 post special fo rmy 500th post that will consist of everything I did on the shard and why.

    6. I reported 2 spambots and got PM'd by a mod. Oops... maybe don't spam report all spam threads...

    [So the 72 transformations and a third eye that shoots lasers is a no? Although I think you should post your character sheet. Normal is subjective after all Also, someones gotta make the plot. So I decided to sacrifice myself in the name of progression. Also, what needs to be normal-er? that might help tweek the character a bit. ty! ]

    I'm too busy reporting spambots to make life easier for the mods. I suck at fine motor skills, so bracelets aren't really a thing for me. TPBM can recite one of the rules of the shard.

    [These are my quote brackets. deal with it. Okay. I have two characters planned: Rirrom and the Dark patron. The dark one is more of a filler to Rirrom's backstory. I'll start with Rirrom: Name: Rirrom Morfemoc Age: -21 (self identify), 21 [actual] Gender identity and orientation: Non-binary [so no gender ig] PCP (powers): The powers to reverse anything. Life, death [okay maybe not], memories, magic, decay, etc... At the cost of his own health (for big things, like life and death), Sanity (for the medium things), or Emotions/memories (all of them all emotions.). Occupation: Priest of a self proclaimed religion. Notable battles: The massacre of the Dale. He killed over 500 people there because they had dark thoughts before getting repressed. Education: Lost all known education to his own powers Tools etc: A cloak that protects him from magic Beliefs: The dark patron is a being of unfathomable power. Just by thinking about It, you serve the dark one. Thinking dark thoughts causes the prison of the dark patron to weaken. The prison of the dark patron is the fabric of reality itself. If it breaks, then everyone is dead. Of course, none of this is real. its all in the head. Other: Actually a nice person when his religious side is unprovoked. Recently escaped the magical prison he was in. okay so that was extensive. Anything wrong with my character @Channelknight Fadran? is he good? ]

    I agree. The worldbuilding is never too much, but always leaves the reader satisfied with what they learned. I love Brandon's books for that reason.

    @Lightweaver2 you can make your own character materialize out of thin air. You don't even need a entire Character Sheet, you just need a name. "Oh, Okay... Uh... How many sticks did that weigh again?"
