  1. No. TPBM feels strongly about a certain videogame development choice
  2. Granted, although they are all Yelig-nar gemstones undercover. I wish for Water to join forces with air
  3. Nah TPBM is dressed formal
  4. The cold equations by Tom Godwin. It's 17 pages long, and is super anticlimactic. The entire thing could be 2 pages. What is the most boring shard that we have seen in action (not valor, wh)
  5. Oh god modding? Voltrix walked down the street and saw an alligator
  6. Gets can we do it Inserts myself
  7. Aeolia rolled her eyes. "Who?"
  8. "Yeah. Some of us like the place here and don't want it to be ruled by the darkness and demons and whatnot."
  9. I AM THE SENATE!
  10. ... <*> ... We say no
  11. man with power of Yelig-nar,
  12. Hit the road jack. imma win now
  13. The demon's ramble about a glorious rule was finally ended. The tremble, fools was probably for added effect. Aeolia glared upwards at the demon and said, "why don't you just leave?"
  14. "You haven't caused any major disruptions that would make it so Variance has to make you invisible, right? Only Allera is a known criminal, correct?"
  15. Here is next topic: Can stuff truely ever be random?
  16. ...? Okay look. If you would like to share your expertise then lets do so respectfully. I do not believe that people should be losing their jobs. I don't think I said that cognitive functions - or whatever you are trying to point out here are worthless. I would recommend you either: a. Assume the best of things (as stated in one of the ettiquite threads) b. PM me if you seriously have a problem that I am missing and we can solve things there. But this is not benefitting anyone with this arguement here. See what I said above The line between chair and non-chair differs between people's views of functionality.
  17. The words referenced here was: Which I assumed had some sort of meaning behind. This is hard to explain. Philosophy is pretty far off in the distance from reality. It is basically the definition of "off on a tangent" in terms of questioning answers. That would depend on the person's perspective. If you kept on taking slivers off of the chair and it functions for its intended purpose than yes. Some would consider a damaged chair a chair, and some would consider it junk or what have you.
  18. Tales of the King's Folly: Chapter 11

I am surprised to see the thing had form. The white fluid in the exposed powerline does not stop flowing as it unleahes this beast. The thing is white with pulsating hot-pink outlines, similar to the powerline energy fluid. It has four legs, and just that. The legs are curved, and as the glowing four-legs spider comes crawling out I can see that the legs are not segmented, but rather they change form to move, while keeping their curved structure. The creature is no larger than a foot in every direction. It backs up cautiously, looking for a time to attack.

I quickly think of all my options. The first one is to fight it, and that one seems almost in vain. With no weapons and little combat experience, I would stand no chance against the creature's menacing claws. So that was a no.

I could also run, but there was no telling if the creature could run faster than I could. It could also have friends, if I tried to hide from it. So that was also a no.

The creature then lunges forward, but luckily it misses. It swiftly backs away from me after its attempted attack and continues waiting. I wait for it to attack but do not take my eye off it as I reconsider my other options.

I reach for my divine power, which is there, but just couldn't cooperate. I try to manifest it with my mind, and nothing happens. I try to concentrate it even harder and just then, the spider decides to strike.

I manage to back up, but not completely. The creature's clawed leg strikes true and cuts open a gash on my leg, which sears with pain. A feeling of despair follows the hyperfluid spider's attack that makes me want to die. I reach for my power again, and something happens.

A click, almost like a key in a lock is what happened to my power. I reach for it, and manifest it in the world desperately.

I expected it to shoot a fireball, or turn time, or make an explosion, but instead, a thin, translucent almost glass-like structure appears in front of me in the air, before falling and shattering with a familiar pink implosion.

I had the power of the ice demons.

I immediately try to use it to block the powerline fluid terror, by making a crystaline shield. The crystals form mid-air, and I snatch it by the handle before smashing it into the pink energy spider.

The crystals shatter in their telltale pink explosion and devour the spider, leaving behind a sort of shadowflame residue.

I quickly realize that the power disappears. It is gone, exactly when the energy spider died. An unfortunate case, but I am forever grateful for its contribution.

I leave the town behind and start to head for Channelpost. Hopefully I get answers there.

  19. The sliver was not made for the intended purpose of a chair. The original chair still is.
  20. Can it a. Still function to a decent degree for it's intended purpose? b. Is it still made for its intended purpose?
  21. ... lap? (Gender stuff is weird). The chair has only one intended purpose and is made for said purpose.
  22. All philosophy relies on a base, and those bases are consistant things. For instance, if we ask: What is a chair? We imply that we already know what a chair is and all that but we must define it. So in other words philosophy is not a disconnected realm from reality. Thing to sit on. The dictionary has a great definition of it already.

  24. Granted, although they cannot bond to you and only function like a normal blade. I wish to eat all of the unmade except yelig-nar and the midnight mother.
