  1. No, no, I have to survive for the game to continue. Haha I'll tax with my Duke. @Shard of Reading Your turn next Game State Shard of Reading: Coins 2, Cards 2 Hentient: Coins 5, Cards 2 HoidWasTaken: dead Duke + Ambassador The Windrunner Supreme: dead Ambassador + Assassin Ghanderflaffle: Coins 2, Cards 2 Aspiring Writer: Coins 0, Cards 2 Whysper: Coins 6, Cards 1 (dead Assassin) Somebody from Sel: dead Contessa + Captain
  2. Okay, Duke is probably more valuable than Assassin in the long run, so my Assassin dies. @Aspiring Writer Your turn next Game State Shard of Reading: Coins 2, Cards 2 Hentient: Coins 5, Cards 2 HoidWasTaken: dead Duke + Ambassador The Windrunner Supreme: dead Ambassador + Assassin Ghanderflaffle: Coins 2, Cards 2 Aspiring Writer: Coins 0, Cards 2 Whysper: Coins 3, Cards 1 (dead Assassin) Somebody from Sel: dead Contessa + Captain
  3. Haha, well, I had to make sure for the integrity of the game. You could have had an Ambassador or something instead. @Shard of Reading Your turn next Game State Shard of Reading: Coins 2, Cards 2 Hentient: Coins 2, Cards 2 HoidWasTaken: dead Duke + Ambassador The Windrunner Supreme: dead Ambassador + Assassin Ghanderflaffle: Coins 9, Cards 2 Aspiring Writer: Coins 0, Cards 2 Whysper: Coins 3, Cards 2 Somebody from Sel: dead Contessa + Captain
  4. Sorry. Rest in peace And just to confirm for the game, you did have a Captain?
  5. Because you've been using your Captain and I'm fairly sure you didn't fake that. There had already been 2 Captains before that and I don't think you would have risked a challenge right after that. Besides all that, the fact that you haven't just come out and said you block with a Contessa kind of confirms that reasoning.
  6. Man, I probably shouldn't explain all this reasoning since it can potentially hurt me, but fine, I'll give you the explanation. I need to get an assassination off, and you are the only one who I know doesn't have a Contessa. Only 1 Contessa has flipped so far, so there are 3 out there still. None of the players with 2 cards have yet used abilities from 2 roles, so they can very well have a Contessa. I'm not going to take that risk right now. You are the logical best target.

  10. Why would you claim this in the thread? If you are Village-aligned, you made yourself into a target. You could have just PM'd individual people and claimed. Like maybe the ones voting on you or just enough to get another wagon going with more votes. Regardless, the situation is as it is now. So we should allow Gears to live for today. The Elims will attack him tonight anyway if he's really a Village-aligned TLR.
  11. Oh wow So Reading should be getting a replacement card for the Assassin. 12. Yeah, agreed. And even being in the same timezone doesn't guarantee matching online schedules. So I definitely think it would be fair all around to give the person a chance to respond to stealing since it affects them directly.
  13. I agree that we should at least do this for stealing. Technically we should let everyone respond to actions that can be challenged since there should normally be a pause between turns to give people a chance. But that might drag things on too much. So perhaps wait for at least 2 people whose turn isn't next to respond with "I don't challenge"? That might be a good compromise.
  14. Oh, that's true. Hmmmm, do we need to designate a certain amount of time for that? We've kind of been allowing the next person to choose how much time they give for challenges and such.
  15. Well, 1 of 3 with the most coins. The others who taxed had 5 coins as well. And their turns were coming up sooner. But that's fine. I'll still forgive..... for now.
  16. Ummm, no. Since you did a good thing, I'll forgive you for stealing from me that first round.
  17. Haha, even if people didn't believe you, I hope no one challenges since you did a good thing in taking away coins from Hoid and now he can't coup his next turn.
  18. Okay, I'll just do the same as before. As Duke, I will tax. This should be the state of the game now. 19. Ahh, okay. I see, that was just a typo. Anyway, I still don't think it likely the Elims would even think of doing a WGG since there's no way to directly protect in this game. Again, they would have had to think about asking the host if RBing results in the same exact message as a TLR or spiked save.
  20. And that's Gears? But if it is like 90% or higher chance that Reading is Villager, then why not just kill Gears instead if you are certain that he would be Elim if Reading is Villager? The way I see it, it's like 90% chance Reading is Villager, 5% chance he's TLR and Elims let him live, and 5% chance Elims guessed on RBs showing up as saves and then did the WGG. And actually I think that last one for WGG is even lower than 5% chance. So if you are saying that we should lynch Gears if Reading is Villager, then it's almost certain we are going to end up doing that anyway, so why ML a Villager in the process? Anyway, even though I would have liked to give Gears a chance since I think we are missing something about the whole RB thing, I would prefer going directly for him instead of ML'ing Reading along the way. Going to place my vote since I need to head to bed now and can't be here for EoD. Gears
  21. The WGG is so unlikely that you are going to just end up killing a Villager. Again the Elims would have had to guess that RB shows up as a save when it usually doesn't.
  22. But with the way PMs have just been causing confusion, and how leaving Reading alive allows people to wonder, they may have left them alive to cause even more confusion. Okay, but even so and assuming he's not TLR, Reading is then likely Villager, so why kill him??
  23. Why do you think it is reasonably certain Reading is not TLR? Actually it is one of the two most likely cases. In all cases, the Elims chose Reading as the NK. 1. The most likely case is that Reading is Villager and someone RB'd the exact Elim doing the NK. 2. The 2nd likely case is that no one RB'd the Elim, but Reading is TLR and survived. But they will die next time. 3. The 3rd case is where someone RB'd the Elim and Reading also happens to be TLR. They still have one extra life. That case of the WGG is really highly unlikely since even the Elims probably didn't know a RB would show up as a save. That's not how it usually works in most games. And I don't think they would have even thought of asking about that much less considered doing a WGG on N1 in the first place. So assuming the TLR is Village-aligned, lynching Reading will either kill a Villager or kill a Village-aligned TLR and lose us PMs (since I think it is highly unlikely that Reading is TLR and the Elim was also RB'd, so TLR won't survive another kill).
