  1. "Not him sire," Caden gestured towards the man who approached from the hall with a scowl, "him." @Fallapede
  2. Arthur started running into the tent before rolling his eyes and taking a moment to take off his shoes.
  3. The voice responded immediately, "have you encountered them before?"
  4. "Huh? Oh, well then sure."
  5. Arthur looked up from his breakfast, "uh, probably not?"
  6. Olivier looked a little ashamed at how all of this was going. "It's uh, my boss wanted to send you some details about what he wants out of the negotiations. That is, what he's been told to work on as the Chairman of Commerce."
  7. Olivier's voice squeaked as he tried to overcome his panic, "I'm Olivier ma'am!" He cleared his throat, regaining control of his voice. "I'm from the uh, the Federal Division of Commerce. I came with lady Dawn." Olivier gestured towards @JesterLavorre.
  8. I've heard of that one. I believe that the most recent one (Hearts of Iron 4 I think) on that series is still getting live service patches and updates.
  9. Another pause, but this one was longer. "Yes, but first you must answer one more question. What do you know of the event that happened during your capture?"
  10. Kuno nodded, "you're right of course; humans won't 'band together' unless something compels them, even when all of humanity is at risk. So if someone wanted to save all of humanity, they would have to compel them all to unite, wouldn't they? For once humanity is united, we can withstand anything."
  11. Caden placed a hand in between the king and the newcomer, glaring at him, "my lord, shall I take care of him?" @Channelknight Fadran
  12. "I'll take care of that now sire." Caden bowed before walking away from the ballroom before stopping a step away, "I will return soon my lord, in case you need me. Be careful sire, I hate assassins." @Fallapede
  13. Caden looked as if he had his reservations, but he held his tongue on them. "As you wish my lord. I will have my men on standby for now."
  14. Caden's expression reflected that of the king's, "I know that the one who reported on this traitor was one of them, I believe her name was Robin. Although I can't be sure about the other, but I can make guesses. My lord, with all due respect, I told you that you shouldn't trust these assassins, they are as likely to put a knife in your back as they are to put one in mine!"
  15. Caden visibly relaxed, but he still looked stressed as he checked around to see if there was anyone listening. "There was a situation in the field, and now two of your King's Ladies are unaccounted for. I fear that they've betrayed you."
  16. Caden gestured to a side door to the ballroom, he then looked to the King as if to ask for confirmation.
  17. Caden stood up after him, deferring to the King in order to follow behind.
  18. Caden glanced around at the present company, "perhaps my lord would prefer to discuss this one in a more private location, sire."
  19. Caden nodded, "the traitor was where we were told. I caught him as he was trying to flee like the coward he was. I made sure to kill him and all who stood with him; although as I took action, the entire settlement rose up in defiance, so I slew them all. Very few escaped, but they should be too scattered to do anything. If they show their faces again, I'll be sure to finish them all off for good." Caden stopped for a brief second, "there is . . . something else."
