It's not that, it's just... I consider audio books pure torture, and while graphic novels are better, they are not something I prefer. i normally only read them after i read the book their based on.

Maybe we should ask Chaos, seeing as he is a beta reader and would know how the system would work.

That does not seem like a good system, friends aren't always the best for critiquing ones work, and all writers have beta readers, so I doubt that system would work for everyone.

How does one even become a beta reader? Never understood how that works.

There is a maximum speed an object can fall at called terminal velocity regardless of friction. The ball would fall until it reached terminal velocity and then stop at that speed. The reason objects fall slower is air resistance, so once you remove that, it will simply fall with gravity as if there is no air, which has been done and recorded with a bowling ball and a feather, by the way, so I would suggest watching that to see how that looks.
