  1. That we know of. We didn't know Ishar had his.
  2. Team Scadrial for life. We're probably allianced officially or unofficially in some way with the Ghostbloods anyway. And let's face it, they're gonna dominate with these new metalminds.
  3. I'm not insane, I just want to rip that animal's limbs off and watch it squirm. WTWTTSW you are carrying a gallon of gasoline.
  4. Um, okay, first off, posts here don't count @Chasmgoat and second I convert myself Coins-7 Cards-2
  5. Oh my God, I'm retarded. So, I recently got Dark Souls from my library and have been playing it when nothing is going on in class, and I've been struggling on the first boss, which you find within like, a minute in the game. And I have been fighting with this pathetic excuse of a weapon (A literal broken sword) and just found out there is a corridor you can sneak into for an actual weapon and shield, so I've been fighting this boss with the equivalent of a stick for days, and actually getting over a tenth of the way to killing it.

... did you not know this? I can get basically anything from my library. That's how I got Shadow of the Conquerer. My library even has the Arcanum unbounded so I could get ALL the Novellas.

  6. @Negative_Null @Chasmgoat @Hentient @Shard of Reading Do you wish to challenge?
  7. Interesting move. Does anyone want to challenge it because Mist supposedly has a Duke and a Contessa, last I checked, so something is fake.
  8. @AonEne Need another hint here.
  9. okay, basically Hoid broke the agreement and is vulnerable to Odium's interference, but Odium can't do anything to Hoid if he can't find Hoid. Odium then proceeded to agree to the contract where he wasn't allowed to harm Hoid, which Todium needed to follow when Hoid revealed himself.
  10. Love how not one person has voted no. Thx for voting, everyone who did.
  11. @Negative_Null you going to block?
  12. You done WHeel of Time yet?
  13. You're all just (Insert)ist! That's why you don't like it! (Aka, the Rian Johnson approach.) WTWTTSW your boss wants to fire you but can't?
  14. Is that Daenerys on the Dragon's back? WTWTTSW you meet Dan and Dan?
  15. I kept track of what reading had, it wasn't a contessa. Anyways, your captain is dead. Don't know why you bothered trying to kill him with a fake Assassin. @Whysper
  16. @Negative_Null reveal whether or not you have an assassin.
  17. Uh, they were the only spren to still keep bonding people after the recreance. They seemed the MOST okay with what happened of any spren.
  18. Screw Dobby, I never liked him anyway. WTWTTSW when your friend tells you about a friend of hers that died?
  19. he means having the most upvoted content, the things that go into the 'days won' count, not when does he get his rep back. Also, thx, that makes sense.
  20. Nightblood has never seemed to gain any kind of personality from the people he kills, so I wouldn't think a vessel would change his personality. I would say that Nightblood might end up needing a lot more investiture, as people keep saying that he has been consuming more and more investiture the more he gets it.
  21. Also, is there a reason that weird spambots tend to come during the later hours where I come from? Any correlation there, I've always been curious about that.
  22. Hello there, welcome! Which cosmere character do have have the biggest crush for?
  23. Hmm, Interesting. I feel that falls under teleapthy. There is something like this in my universe. Well, the person wearing the illusion already has some control. So, like gain the skill or knowledge of the people you have a link with? Hmm, makes sense. Hmm, hard to make rules for that. so... just knock them out.
  24. Hmm. I agree that some of the best foreshadowings are ones that are hidden in plain sight, and the methods BS uses are quite interesting (I did not read the Wheel of Time section, I still need to get on that). He puts it in places where we either do not take it seriously or we think it is one of many things and has no particular significance. The latter is incredibly useful as even if the reader is aware of that method, it will still take a while to discover the pattern being foreshadowed. I've always viewed foreshadowing like a puzzle, where you give little bits and pieces to make parts of it and you can kinda make it out, but there is still too much missing, and then the reveal finishes the puzzles and how everything fits together. Another method of foreshadowing that is more character-based is an event that will happen in the future taking place earlier but on a much smaller scale. I don't have any specific examples on the top of my head, but if your conclusion is to have your main character order the deaths of people in a rage, you'll want to have moments where the main character gets angry and loses control, and have them keep escalating, from a fight, to an injury, to them killing someone, to the big reveal as they order a slaughter. there are no hidden pieces here, we can see how their rage affects them and how they act because of it, but it is still foreshadowing an event. Also hi, what do you write?
