Gal looks up from his notebook, hesitates, looking to see if anyone else follows Valzwyn. He himself keeps standing there. When he sees only Orpheus seems to follow, he returns to his notebook, though he does look back up every half a minute or so.

Another update! Assuming someone bothers reading that. For now, the magic system is called Mindgardening. the animals still don't have a normal-language name, because I'm not sure what I can come up with. Maybe I'll just ignore the poll and stay with the present terms. I chose rabbits for the Intuition Center. They Harvest intuition and instincts - quick sub-conscious thoughts. When Harvested, the patient will find it hard to jump into quick conclusion, having to consider things for longer time, though even that will be harder, as we generally base our understanding and thought process on those. Planting will make he patient quicker with such thoughts. Not like a Zinc ferring, but more like allomantically burning Atium, in a more instinctive way, ranging from a general enhancement of intuition to strong, specific instinct towards something. Their Cultivation will be not much unlike the owls - they can change small things physically, though unlike owls, their changes are sharp - like a gust of wind that makes the arrow fly in a completely different direction. They can create portals by quickening the natural process of Clashings by much. Their Fertilization makes them very instinctive and intuitive, usually impulsive and not considerate. And I did it again, choosing a mammal instead of something else. And over an offer I've rejected for this reason. Sorry, @Ixthos! Maybe I'll try finding another non-mammal for the tenth Center, or change one of the existing animals. About the tenth Center, I thought of two possible ideas (I can theoretically use both, but I kind of prefer having only one): Inspiration, or something about translating thoughts to emotions. I'm still not sure what the last one could be. I hope someone will be able to help.

Someone probably wrote it somewhere, as I'm not the only Hebrew speaker here, but... "El" in Hebrew is god, and I believe Brandon said once that the Alethi language has some Semitic roots. It's also probably connected to the Wikipedia article GregMourad linked here.

Well, it's only technically isn't. I try to keep the important things in my mind, but we do need an official member for that! We don't have one yet because no one likes paperwork. I'll edit the OP in a moment. Your color will be Octarine, the color of magic. (I hope someone gets the reference...)

This does sound a little weird, but reminds me of a time I was left completely alone at home for some hours a few years ago. I basically felt like I'm getting mad, but I felt better when my family came back home. I can hazard a guess that "alone" in your post isn't without your close family, so why no social interaction? Brothers and sisters don't count, or is it that you don't have any?

Gal looks up, very annoyed. "my name is Owlson, and I am a magic researcher. I just learned about circuiting realmatically keyed energy through the use of human cognition and metal plates. This is not unheard of, though it's not exactly known to act like this. So, I'm passing back through my old notes. Is that enough for you?"

"Very important research." Says Gal, not moving his eyes from his notebook.

"Apparently so. Perhaps since I've wrote most of it." Gal says, staying a bit sarcastic. He then moves the notebook back to where only he can read it. "Now, if you please stop bothering me, I could keep reading."

Gal looked up, annoyed. "What I'm reading is my own business, thank you. If you wish, you can look and see if you can read it yourself." He ends up with a cynic tone, showing her the inside of the notebook - which is full of small writings in some unknown language.

Gal raised his head, looking at the girl on the horse. "Reading." He said shortly, then returned to do so.

By the way, Counselor, do you have any new intelligence about the SEFBM?

So, you now need to think of powers for the transitional hues, don't you? And since we have three basic hues, it means the transitional will need to be two for each color pair, one with more of the first color and the other with more of the second. I... don't think I can help with that. Sorry.

So, does anybody wants a poll for what Center fits you the most? I could try and write a quiz, but I won't be able to do it that easily.
