  2. What is the first radiant oath according to the Lopen? (All right, I admit it, not that funny. Add an "is there a sort of pancakes that should go before the journey" and you'll get something slightly better. Never trust my sense of humor.) Well, homework for you then! Examine closely my question and the three ones before it. What do they all have in common? (I assume they have something in common, of course. And that's a hint.) What makes someone be worthy of you caring about them? (I get that everyone is worthy of having someone care about them, but when comes the time that this so done is you?) Also, Mwahahahaha! I never intended to take this thread out of its philosophical phase! That's not really why my answer was that bad. Well, not intentionally.
  3. Well, to be quite honest... I don't see how getting close to people any different from caring about them. Did you not accept the answer given to me? Or do you think it works better with caring from afar? In both those cases, I don't have much more of an answer than, yes, people you're close too will hurt you. They'll make you happy, too, though. Might it actually be better to care from afar and just be happy for other people?
  4. What, that thing behind me? No, it's just the sofa. Why are you asking? Well, I had a completely different point, but I guess no one will ever guess it. Oh well. If pain comes from care, why shouldn't one just... Stop caring? Sorry for the deep question, I'm in the mood for it, I guess.
  5. However would you be able to utilize a black hole?
  6. Well, now I do. Sounds weird. TPBM can hear what they see and see what they hear. Either that, or they caught my reference.
  7. Do they, now? What is the problem with this question, along with the three above it?
  8. Name it George and raise it in fear of skyeels. WWYDIYF an axehound IYP?
  9. "It's fine," said Ben. "Let's go!" He led the way to Crawnly Keep, humming to himself along the way.
  10. Yes. But IIRC, it was supposed to be inside the city, and Raoden was outside. Plus, a line drawn on earth won't hold as long as walls.
  11. I'm pretty sure it's not necessarily so. I mean, why can't he be an Elantrian after the chasm line was added? Which just reminds me, did anyone understand where the chasm line was supposed to be added in Elantris? It's kind of confusing, to me.

  13. It's 666, I think. Likewise, 1337 is So 1337 Hoid can't compete. Those are just cool Easter eggs, I think.
  14. Ben stayed on his bed with his eyes closed, listening absently to his alarm clock. Then he remembered where he was, and his eyes flattered open. He rose instantly and turned his alarm clock off. He turned to apologize to his roommate... When he recalled they each had a bedroom alone. It felt almost empty to him, after years of living with his siblings in the same room with him. The time was 7:00. He dressed up swiftly - with a many-pocketed pants and plain grey-blue shirt. He snatched his backpack and went to the exit - then hesitated, waiting for Jared.
  15. What would you say about thirty each side?
  16. ... How much do you know of your family this far?
  17. Don't you say "second cousin" when you talk about one?
  18. How much do you really want to know? Why wouldn't they be able to?
  19. Did you know that in french, the word for cousin can mean a cousin at any level?
  20. Don't you think you're falling to similar pits to the ones you're warning from? (Do you think I do, too?)
  21. One board game... A different board game every two weeks? Or play a board game with Fadran every two weeks? Also, can the tribute come in questions? I think I'm rather good at producing those sometimes.
  22. Where would one see a ferret with a death ray? Also, can't cats show annoyance by scratching at bars?
