  1. For some time. Then quarantine happened. At least, I think this was what convinced me to actually join. I explained why I joined far too many times, IMO, so I'll spare you the details. Do you think next year will be more active?
  2. An animated movie by DreamWorks, with an original plot. I think it's nice. It also kind of reminds me of the Black Cauldron, for some reason, but I don't want to let the bogart of disloyal adaptation out of the closet any more than it already is.
  3. Do you not think, then, that each has its place? That in a thread for questions, one should ask questions?
  4. Well, why does it seem you see questions such negatively, then?
  5. Why do you think that questions are darkness?
  6. How to Train your Dragon was a good movie. Just absolutely unrelated to the original. I'm not sure about Eragon, and can't say a thing about Artemis Fowl due to not watching it.
  7. Happy Shardversary! (Belated, sorry.) I blame Ta'veren for getting me here - he tagged me in a status update, and happened to post here lately. At first I was confused with the two years in the first post, then I realized it's from last year... Anyway, congratulations! May you have many more happy years on the Shard.
  8. "Probably not." Said Ben hesitantly. "I mean, Shaun did say he never saw that one before, didn't you?" He continued, turning to Shaun.
  9. Stare at them for a moment, then start complaining on the fact I didn't get a tail or wings. Afterwards I'll probably tear my skin to shreds and might accidentally commit suicide - I scratch my neck way too much, but that's not really interesting. What would you do if a literal witch took over your household? (Assuming we're talking about the more evil kind of witches.)
  10. Are you an anarchist? Do you believe every type of rule is tyranny?
  11. Do you intend to say that no one who keeps to the way of the question is important? Also, how will you define dawn in a thread where there are people from all over the world?
  12. Would hanging them at dawn really return the thread back to the way it was?
  13. That's the thing, though: all humans had a little more Preservation than Ruin in them. Perhaps with some people, it was expressed as low-key allomancy.
  14. My father was born in France. That, somehow, resulted in the opposite: I don't like France or the french people. So, short answer: no. TPBM has read Animorphs.
  15. "Umm... That's a bit prejudicial." Said Ben. "I'm pretty sure that reanimated dead don't eat brains."
  16. "It could be that this door was just added relatively lately." Inserted Ben. He looked excited. "It could be interesting, to explore the area afterwards. Maybe just tell us about the more important classes?"
  17. It was a simple, white room, with chairs set in a circle in the middle. For the moment, no one was around. Then, in a flash of light and a gust of wind, two people appeared. They seemed to be around fifteen years old. One - a girl - was dressed in a sparkling sky-blue dress and had a short wand in her hand. The other was a boy, dressed in regular jeans and a t-shirt. Both had brown hair and eyes. "So... This is it, then." Said the boy, Conner. "The... Support group for people who went between dimensions." He looked around. "Seriously, after all we've been through... I'm not sure we really need it anymore. Passing between dimensions became sort of dull." "Well, it's still best to be able to discuss those things with other people." Said Alex. "You do have Bree, mom and Bob to talk to about this, but I still think this is a good idea. Besides, we could help other people." "All right, I guess." Said Conner. After a few moments of awkward silence, Alex said "So... I guess we'll just sit and wait for other people to arrive." They picked seats and sat, waiting.
  18. Ben walked after Shaun rather enthusiastically. He chose to ignore the general negative reaction to the get-to-know-each-other activities.
  19. Christopher Paolini. You wouldn't have heard of him if you didn't hear about Inheritance Cycle. Well... Yeah, I guess so. But as far as Tolkien ripoffs go, I think it's a good one. And I think it has some originality in it.
  20. Yes, indeed! Not all the books, but quite a few. Those that were translated to Hebrew - at least, most of those. TPBM has read Asterix.
  21. Gal clapped at the end of the speech. He was... A bit surprised by Jared's and that Dwarfish boy who was their neighbor's reaction. "I think she tries her best." He said. "I'm sure we'll all find the classes interesting in general."
  22. And you caught up with me. And you also have more posts than I have, and I've been here for a year and s half more than you have. Why are you so active?
  23. Yep, it is still happening! Still unsure whether it'd be a thread or a PM. I'll probably resurface it closer to the time the books come out. Also, this is my 1000th post. And I regret nothing - I truly want for this to happen.
