Yeah, that's basically the discussion we had the last game. It's always in Gear's best interests in the long run, but not for the majority, and this is a Team game. You can also say that for all the more chaotic players, which is why when in doubt I have no qualms with killing them. Speaking of- Elkanah, you've been seemingly awfully lawful good so far imo, what's up with that?

You dislike poke voting but you vote Xino? idk. if you don't like poke voting then why wouldn't you have just voted gears for claiming elim back then

I have my reasons, had little to do with his vote on Lotus. I see both as suspicious things to do. With Gears: (1) He initially voted Lotus simply because she had a role, before he remembered that if someone with the Adjudicator role was NK'd the voting would change. This makes as much sense to me as someone claiming Actor or Burglar, or claiming no role and someone being like "man, that role isn't incredibly useful" and deciding to kill someone because of that. It's not an incredibly useful role for village, but knowing someone has a role isn't a reason to kill them imo. I mean, we don't even know that Lotus has a role. (2) After someone points out that if Lotus is killed then the voting rules change. Gears reads this as it will change even if the Adjudicator is voted out, but doesn't retract his vote. Not wanting to change your vote right away seems more like an Elim wanting to appear not suspicious, and not switching off of lotus also seems suspicious because why would you still vote Lotus? you are currently under the impression that if Lotus dies then voting rules will change for the worse? of course you could just be lazy, Or maybe he just thought that no one else would vote for lotus and maybe he would be able to split the vote for the PM benefit or whatever that is. It just all seems too much like gears trying to cover his mistakes and it doesn't make all that much sense to me. Lotus: Since she said that she's experimenting and this is out of her comfort zone, I can't really assume that she's telling the truth. I have no clue what she is actually trying. I guess in the long run I should completely ignore this like Gear's Elim claim. (1) She could be a Village Adjudicator, claiming her role to get protection (I mean, pretty sure she didn't claim so she would die...) because no one wants Adjudicator to be NK'd...well, the village doesn't. The Elims probably do. (though if I were an Elim I wouldn't want a dead adjudicator this early) and Idk about the monk. No, the monk definitely wants the Adjudicator dead, huh. (2) She could be a Elim Adjudicator, both thinking what Matrim mentioned - why would an Elim Adjudicator actually claim after so much speculation, and, I mean, the same thing that ...Vil!Adjudicator!Lotus was thinking: People would want to protect her (3) She could be an Elim, not Adjudicator, thinking that claiming adjudicator might get her to redirect protection Basically I should read Lotus' claim as NAI, but it feels more like something an Elim would do - To try and get protection. Er, can someone explain why we might get unlimited PMs if Lotus dies? Again, how does killing lotus get us PMs?

So I mean, you saying this before you apparently remembered that if Lotus is attacked (and telling the truth) doesn't make much sense to me. I mean, I can see it making sense on way, but that way still doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I do see this as more of an Elim move than a Vil move, but that's because I was under the Impression that if the Adjudicator was voted out then the penalty would also happen, as we would be less likely to kill them if that were true. I guess that doesn't really hold up, and i get Lotus saying that she's trying different things, but it still seems like an elim move to me. This sounds like you were going to read over and then respond, but you never responded?

Sorry, drove across the state and back yesterday, was very tired, completely forgot I was in a game... anyways- Okay basically I think that ignoring the fact that there is a spy is the best route. As far as I see, the Village still wins if the spy is alive, so the only reason we would need to try and weed out the spy is if they're doing a really good job at protecting the Elims, which they'd apparently have to figure them out better than the village to do, so TBH not really worried. I disagree that the Spy should be actively protected. I don't think they should be actively attacked, as that just benefits the Elims, and the Village can still win with the Spy alive. It's not like the Korathi Cultist was, as the Cultist needed everyone gone, and also knew the identities of the Elims. The Spy would need to save up 100 Deo to buy a murder contract, so I also don't think that worrying about them actively killing is worth anything. Ventyl, not sure I understand your reasoning. You are saying that you are usually chaotic to prompt discussion? and so you think that gears is doing that, so you vote on them? Not sure I understand that reasoning. I don't see gears being particularly chaotic exept for the Elim claim, which people should just ignore at this point (though I do think that his "Analysis" was particularly unhelpful this game, being more of a summary with added "Stay alive" and "welp, if this is your role you shouldn't die" . One of my strats is to be chaotic D1 (not exactly to prompt discussion though....) so I can't exactly fault someone else for doing that. I do admit that it is sus though... Wrote this before you said it was a "joke vote" but idk I'm just not buying that totally yet. Ideally I would have gotten on and also voted for gears but too late now :P. I think that 3 Elims makes more sense to me, as with 4 elims it would be 4/9 not 4/10 and 4/9 with luck on the elims side could end really early. I guess I have to think about the fact that that Spy needs to disappear first, so...actually, nevermind. 4 Elims makes sense now...as the Elims would need to get rid of 6 people, with one being the Spy that they have to figure out....and the Vil has to figure out 4...no I still think 3 Elims makes more sense to me. there isn't really an align scan and the elims technically could buy more kills...idk... I still think 3 Elims makes more sense to me... NULL - Mist: Hope you did well on the SAT. I'm more of an ACT person - Ashbringer - Silber - Lotus NULL/- - Gears: Their Inital Analysis seems more like a summary to me - Matrim: Null with a pinch of bad gut read in there - King: Seemingly contributing to discussion, but nothing to say. New player, so understandable. - Venture: maybe it's just because I see being seen as vaguely sus as good for yourself if you're village, and responding to a read based off of one post seems pointless. - TJ Shade: idk bad gut read - Xino: In the one game I was in with Xino where they were village they posted and in the 2 other games where they were Elim they only talked in the Elim doc - Ventyl: (Null/--) Bad vibes NULL/+ - Vapor: put out some sort of reads, woot - Elkanah (Null/++) Being helpful I'll probably remember more that I wanted to say but in the hour I was catching up definitely forgot

Okay first of all I wanted to say I was extremely confused by the profile pics.... :P. I honestly have no idea how I found the shard, as none of the Brandon Sanderson fans I know were on it before I knew about it... I had been lurking on the Shard for about two years before I actually made an account, but I eventually created an account to play SE as someone had been pestering me. :P. Um, I think that honestly the biggest impact on me has been loss of free time...spending it all on trying to...er, SE. :P. The only really fun memory I have is LG 69 :P.

gg Vapor! Matrim, that...er...doesn't sound...reasonable...everyone picking Matson...I would think that you'd want one of each in a large alliance. of course there's the whole trusting thing, but eh. In a perfect world I would have been the osborn for like maybe 5 tiny alliances and kept myself alive by feeding them all info from the others, but eh. Surprised that no one picked Ballantain, but I did have a feeling that not everyone would be picking Taylor this time around, especially with the new defenses.

Annoying in the sense that my mother and brother get annoyed at me and my father for singing too much. Travel song? I skip travel song. never. I- If I hate one song in Shrek it's that one. I mean, who sings actual "travel songs" on road trips? I mean, my newest addition to car karaoke is Lost in The Darkness from Jekyll and Hyde lol.
-
Jesse in Glee and Who cares in Spring Awakening because I only care about John Gallagher Jr. Shrek. much like, very good. Who I'd be is my go-to family road trip, annoying car karaoke song, second only to Lily's Eyes :P.

I mean, terrible tech week = wonderful show according to the mythology, amirite? :P. Also, I mean, uh, I've never had anything like that happen in my shows iirc...so...
-
Yeah, Tbh honestly one of my favorite songs from our show, but that's mainly because our witch was really good. We didn't have a big tower for us to worry about lol.
-
Dang, what's it like having money? :P. Wow okay yeah I guess not being able to perform with all that is really dissapointing, and probably even more so for the builders/designers. we had about three levels of platforms but that was it. Rapunzel's tower was a big rock on the left that she stood behind. :P. Artistic decisions? The real question is did you guys do "our little world" ?
-
They have a major in some form of classical music. :P. they do know things, they just also believe that people should be able to sing higher.
-
Man. What choir are you in? I wish. My teachers favorites were always sopranos. This person also thinks that barotones and basses are tenors who dont work hard enough :P.
-
"altos are just sopranos who don't work hard enough" EDIT: I am..I'm joking. there's someone I know who believes this.
-
That sucks, yeah :(. . the step family would all be so fun to play. I ended up being Jack's mother. Moving set? Man, that's fancy :P. At least you got to do something! Yeah, this is me delving out of singing territory, but three shows I was going to be working on ended up being cancelled. Delving back into singing territory, and maybe a controversial opinion, Legit Soprano songs are better. than anything.
