Spren of Kindness

Ah, writing.  In which I stare at a Google Doc for ten seconds with the wheels spinning, but without any traction, and then slink off to Google what the door of a truck bed is called.

Tailgate.  The word I wanted was tailgate.

I'm really glad that scene's over, though.
