I mean, i think they are. Dajer told this to Star: "The dragons have stagnated. Once, they flew, and mortals walked. Now any child with a coin can soar as they did" That sounds to me like the ability to use allomancy is available to practically anyone. If we didn't see it in the book it's because Brandon doesn't want to spoil too much of the future of magic in Scadrial and the reason in the world why we didn't see any soldiers use allomancy is that there really wasn't a real opportunity, it's not like throwing coins at the Dakwara was more useful than shooting it.

I really really loved this book, is a mixture of what i loved in Tress and what i loved in Sunlit Man. It make Dusk go from a character i didn't really care to be one of my favorites. And i freakin loved Dajer as the antagonist, is one of the best villains brandon written because he is really really smart but at the same time too confident in himself, he see Starling as a threat so he is always one step ahead of her and he see Dusk as an idiot caveman so he doesn't see what he is capable of doing. Hands down probably the best of the secret projects i really am hyped to see the Dynamic crew in the future

Just the third Alien is Rosharan, the first two who are the Ones Above are clearly from Scadrial.

An probably underrated one that stuck to me was Dami The Stormwall entrance to the battle of the shattered plains.

I think Sazed will become Discord in Era 3 and that will be a positive thing. I think Sazed will gain control over Discord's powers and intentions so that he can act. He is the Hero Of Ages, not the Hero Of One Age. Also, along with this I think we will see a conversation between Sazed/Discord and Taravangian/Retribution that will set up a conflict that will continue in the 2nd arc of Stormlight. On the other hand, I really want to see the Ruin shard being used for something beyond just destruction, a confrontation between Ruin and Odium is something I've always wanted to see.

I'm sorry for you but we won't see most of those things, we only will see about the time between Book 5 and Book 6 in flashbacks and maybe in the New prologue moment.

Predict Minor Developments in the ten year gap to SA6 [MINOR ONLY!]
JPGU replied to robardin's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Man, thinking about Szeth being a Big Brother to Oroden just warns my heart. Also i think we will see Oroden saying that Lopen is his Uncle because he says that kaladin was his cousin. Another thing that i don't know if counts as minor, i think in the lift flashbacks we will see the moment that Szeth tells Hesina and Lirin that Kaladin is death. -

A way for Tarabution to have his powerful army!!!
JPGU replied to JasnahShouldBeVegan's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I think another problem with this plan is that Taravangian doesn't even stay on Roshar after ascending, it's only months later for Roshar and years later for him outside in the Cosmere that he returns and pays some attention to the planet, one of the things that Dalinar's move achieved is that now Taravangian has to hide and move his pieces very carefully so as not to be cornered by his rivals. -
You can still die even if you held a dawnshard if you don't have investiture, we see that with Sigzil in Sunlit Man

Most of the things I think have already been said, but to add my two cents I want to say that I totally agree with this, the honorspren are not formed directly from the intention of the shard but are shaped more by the perception of Tanavast, even the youngest honorspren (and the only ones we have seen alive and have as an example of their behavior) were created by the stormfather not by honor.

I think our Dalinar is gone and the Blackthorn will die in the second arc and that is the Dalinar that renarin see burning in a vision.

My guess is this: From WoK to WaT happens while the last years of Wax in the Roughs. In the moment Retribution borns Roshar enters in the time dilation state. Then happens all of Era 2 from alloy of law (then is the epilogue of Hoid's job interview in house Ladrian) to the lost metal. Kelsier and Shallan talk happens after The Lost Metal, that's why Twinsoul and Dlavil doesn't seem to know that Lyatil is dead in that book. In resume the timeline will be: WoK > WoR > Ob > RoW > WaT (till Retribution born) > Alloy of Law > Hoid WaT Epilogue > Shadows Of Self > Bands Of Mourning > The Lost Metal > Shallan and Thaidakar talk.

There has been a theory for a long time that within the cosmere the stormlight archive will be a collection with the books of the saga (The Way Of Kings, Words Of Radiance, Oathbringrer, Rhytm Of War, etc.). I think this part of Knights Of Wind And Truth confirms that: "For the events surrounding the contest at Urithiru, I must refer you to another volume of this multi-author work. One that has, unfortunately, not yet been written."

Someone else talked about Kaladin and Chana beign in the same space and the awkward conversation of Kal killing Helaran. But i'm even more interested in Kaladin and Kalak talking about the fact that him as Restares was the one that gave Amaram the order of killing Kaladin crew and take the Shardblade.

1.- Shallan and Kelsier will make peace and she will become a full Ghostblood agent leading the New Roshar Branch. 2.- Lopen will be the leader of the Windrunners. 3.- Lift and Vivenna will meet and they will have a rivalry/friendship because of both being Vasher students. 4.- Adolin will be the first main character to meet Kaladin after he returns from Braize, and the scene will parallel the duel in Words Of Radiance. 5.- The Blackthorn will kill Adolin or Renarin, and the one that survives+Gavinor will defeat him by freeing his soul and letting what is left of Dalinar go to the Beyond. 6.- We will have more Herlad flashbacks than just Ash and Taln (I think that Chana for book 8 and Nale for book 9 could fit). 7.- Szeth will have a son whose name will be in honor of Kaladin. 8.- Syladin is inevitable. (I don't know if i like it or not, but i think it will happen).

Wind and Truth Full Book Reactions (No Cosmere Edition)

Wind and Truth Full Book Reactions (No Cosmere Edition)
JPGU replied to LewsTherinTelescope's topic in Stormlight Archive
You are wrong on two of these though. Tanavast said: "Edgli, Endowment, who was the most compassionate woman I had ever known." "I made one final attempt at locating Valor, the great dragon god Medelantorius—as she was a warrior who would surely join me." So both Edgli and Medelantorius Indeed where aligned with the intentions of their shards -
Wind and Truth Full Book Reactions (No Cosmere Edition)
JPGU replied to LewsTherinTelescope's topic in Stormlight Archive
I cried when Kaladin said again "honor is dead, but I will see what I can do." They were not tears of sadness but of pride and acceptance because in that moment I knew that Kaladin Stormblessed had evolved into the man he was meant to be, the one who will always protect those who cannot protect themselves no matter who they are or what type of protection they need. -
https://www.reddit.com/r/Stormlight_Archive/s/LksjR3KfpG In this Reddit post this person made a list of times when the wind behaves strangely or is mentioned in a special way throughout the books. In my opinion, the most notable ones are chapter 43 of WoK, chapter 52 of WoR and especially chapter 6 of Oathbringer.

With the information we have in the book I think we can all agree that Hoid is indeed a Dawnshard, but I think Jerick is not one yet. As someone already mentioned, Aronack takes away Ryalla's powers and when he talks to Doruse he asks if he was the one who gave Jerick his powers. That to me implies that Jerick is like Ryalla, that plus the fact that he doesn't show the same interest with Jerick that the one he shows with Hoid makes me think that Jerick is not a dawnshard but that her powers simply come from one

This is not a fact about Chuck Norris but a question. I remember that there is a WoB that says that the members of the bridge four make jokes about Kaladin like the ones we make about Chuck Norris, could someone help me find that WoB?

Well, considering how advanced the cosmere is and the interaction between entire civilizations, I doubt that Frost's policy of non-intervention makes any sense today.

Well, that was the interpretation I gave to the fact that Frost mentions only having known two and what Starling says: "She knew some, unlike her uncle, saw her albinism as a flaw. A sign of misfortune, come from what happened to her parents..." I interpreted that to mean that Star's parents are the other two albino dragons, but now that you mentioned it it is true that it is not confirmed and it could be that I simply misinterpreted it.

I also thought that it could be related to fain life but the way they talk about hers albinism and that Frost, who has been alive since before the shattering, had only seen two before, it seems very strange, and all dragons are fain so If that were the reason it shouldn't be so strange. I also want to comment that it seems strange to me that both of Star's parents were albinos, so were they related or are they simply two dragons from different families that were born with the same special condition and then became a couple?
