  1. A bit busy rn to explain to all that so I'll get back to it, but why is everyone assuming Araris/Stick was v/e? @_Stick_, what do you think about your bus theory now?
  2. Partially reasoned suspicion :P. I'm not sure of my suspicion here. Mmmrghhh, okay I see your point but... that post still reads off to me because it's not just predicting elim behaviour, he's taking about scenarios where elim team are hurt from Fang usage, and that line of thinking is more likely to have come from an elim. It follows a long chain of events - How does Fang hurt elims -> (on Negation) -> How can you avoid Fang from hurting elims -> Pick a designated Fang victim and follow a certain play -> Confuse village ->(cases where this play doesn't work out) -> Trusted elim gets a suddent train on them I think it feels a lot more than predicting/anticipating elim moves. My current views are Archer is that I still feel he's iffy :P. I did not realize Araris had 4 votes. I don't remember anything he posted or any of the reasoning of votes on him. If there's a bus, I think this is likely.
  3. Mmmrghh, I'm not convinced by this because the main reason this got flagged as suspicious to me because I don't recall you doing this as village, so I found it to be elim-indicative to you. And I see you did link LG74 here, but commenting on each thing, I've always felt there was a motive there, and it's different to the question you asked... which I did not find a point in asking and was performative. You say the point was to gauge an answer because elims say random stuff, but this thing, you haven't done as village before, which is why I find your reasoning weak :P. You want people to ask you reasoning so... why? Also, we should probably do a yellow/purple yes/no voting thing for Fanging. I was thinking if it would be better if elims did not know for certain that Fanging was happening. But I don't think there'd be a difference as they choose someone to die with out without the knowledge that Fanging would occur. Good - Mat, Bort, Orlok Mlerp - Striker, JNV, Araris, Illwei Bad - Stick, xino, Archer, Thaid
  4. Yeah, I take this more as an argument for 4-player elim team than to Fang D1. Elims do tend to freak out and overestimate the village's ability to catch them, and as you recall, you won the game following a D1 elim flip, so point in my favor? Something feels off about this, but I don't know what :P. I think there's too much elim strategizing here, that it looks like it's from an elim perspective? Agreed. JNV has posted, so where'd your next vote go? Sorry, that inquisition looks performative :P. Also, what is it that you actually observed? Like, what was the point to the question? Define 'aggressive' :P. Because I definitely planned to play this game concisely , so 'direct' would be a better description (I'm in a tv-binge trap right now, which is draining my time, hence the plan to play in a concise way :P). Also, if aggressive, why is it elim-alignment indicative? Being nit-picky here but the use of third person pronouns for the village just sounds off @xinoehp512, did you reply to this anywhere?I just glanced through this assuming they/them meant village Elders specifically, but on second look, that doesn't make sense and it does look like you're mentioning the village in third person.
  5. Also, Stick. I think it's elim-indicative for Stick when she notices/requests clarifications about small stuff, it's in order to appear very observant.
  6. what's the disadvantage with option b? :P. disregarding the fact the predicting distancing might cause elims to alter strategy, they have to choose two paths in distancing strategy - a. choose one person to distance from and choose him for death during the fang cycle (basically LG74 evil team with Maill) b. create a distance web where each elim team member distance from another and then choose the most suspicious one to die during the Fang cycle Option a is advantageous because such a strategy will be obvious to look back on and find out bus-behaviour. Option b is advantageous because once there's been a Fang-kill, elim team members cannot back down from the distancing suspicion on their teammates lest it becomes obvious.
  7. Okay so this is going to get IKYK-y because it's predicting elim behaviour, but if the common thread opinion is to Fang during C1, less elim-elim interactions would mean less links and connections to each other (for e.g. it'd look really weird and obvious if there's distancing attempts in C1 followed by C1 Fang-death of one of the distancing parties). If the common thread opinion is to Fang at a later stage of the game, distancing can be a little more... natural and progressive, which is what I meant when I said distancing is more likely if we decide to Fang later in the game.
  8. You mean, like you'd want to use it before we catch an elim by our vote? The difference is they control that kill, they get to direct the narrative and discussion after the Fang-death, as compared to being able to discern more by vote analysis if we catch an elim via the vote. I was thinking more like - not later than C3. If they are 4 in number, it's 10-4, their wincon is outnumber so they need 7 consecutive kills. Pure village C1-C2 makes it 6-4 at the end of C2. If there's another ML + E.Kill + Fang Kill, it's 4-3 at the end of C3.... which yeah, no that's cutting it too close. So I'm leaning towards Fanging in C2 now. Yeaahh no, Fanging becomes inactive when we vote out an elim first Not sure how to feel how this rule miss, Mat's a stickler reading the rules :P.
  9. Why? We've seen it as evidentially recently that a C1 elim-elimination is actually detrimental to the village forming connections and noting interactions between the elim team members, and if not careful, could lead to a loss without another elim being found. Oh, also, I'd be looking at deliberately fake confrontational interactions to throw us off the scent if we do Fang an elim later in the game.
  10. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to mention this or if I should post this in QF59 Aftermath thread or just mention it on Discord and I didn't mention it earlier, because it's sorta game-related but this is in reference to the first time @Amanuensis lost parts of the content of his post in the QF and the likely reason behind it. I think it's because while multi-quoting specifically inside a spoiler box, if we try to undo using Ctrl + Z, I've noticed it doesn't just remove the last letter or word. It removes everything we've typed since quoting something last (including that particular quote box) and redoing using Ctrl + Y doesn't work here. I'm not sure if it happens every time or the frequency of this occurring, but I've personally noticed this while typing up the sign-ups for MR49. So this is just a 'be careful' kinda thing from me when undoing stuff inside a spoiler box with quotes in them.
  11. So, who's running the next MR? We've got - @StrikerEZ Experience (sort out your LG first ) Striker again @The Unknown Novel @Kasimir followed by @Szeth_Pancakes, Striker again , @Illwei, @Elandera and @Archer.
  12. Nominating Stick [@_Stick_], and taking myself out of consideration. I- could be free but I'm still not confident in my activity levels despite the post limit, so maybe next year :P.
  13. Context for this was I had the alignment scan ability but I could only scan once I had aligned myself with a faction. So the sooner I aligned myself with the village, the more scans I got.
  14. There is not a single indication in my post that Mira is his wife SMH, there's no Targaryen crap going around, let it goooo smh
  15. aaaaaaa not Targaryen smh See, you can read my post and it'll still make sense if Mira is his daughter. "Reconcile and be there for his kids" could both mean for Mira, so it's fine :P.
  16. smh that's one small line in a huge post I totally interpreted the opposite way, I didn't give importance to it :P.
  17. UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH what? >> I don't remember your earlier RPs, but tell me this doesn't look like you're talking about your two exes here >> Clearly looks like a couple growing apart smh :P.
  18. I think Exp is in fact running the game (not sure though, but I think they're still going over his rules?). But my game has a few secret elements and I do not want to give flashbacks to MR56 so soon after the game ended, so I'm declining here. xD
  19. Nonono smh, that's not how it was supposed to go down! According to me it went down like this - Me ofc being a v good friend to Kavar, was very concerned about his personal life. He'd said it was his last mission before... heading out to see Mira. But I knew. An operative never gets to retire. It's never the last mission... until it is. So ofc Kavar being stubborn as a mule and honorable as a... well an honorspren I suppose, he'd choose another mission and then another, then... well you get the idea, and he wouldn't accept my [or my mates'] help because well... we aren't exactly honorable, are we? So I did the only thing I could do to help him. Wrapped a hood around him and kidnapped him off The Survivor, hehe. He'd never accept our help voluntarily smh, we had to do what we did. I even drafted a nice resignation letter to his boss and everything, so all's peachy [er, or it could be taken as desertion notice but let's not worry about that ]. Dropped him off at Mira's, hoping they'd reconcile and he'd be there around more for his kids like he wanted. Mira does bake some mean cookies though, I might have to return here.... but uhh not before gauging how Kavar feels. Angry? Disappointed? Betrayed? Well, if it gets him the life what he wanted, then it's alright. But for now? Well, Roshar's a whole new world. See, no stabbing or betrayal, just wanted to help our Security Officer find his way back to his family xD Right, so that was fun :P. This elim team was just... so messy and chaotic, it was glorious lmao xD Really had a great time plotting the win with every one of you, you guys were great teammates. Yeah, we were insanely lucky, especially with the 1/15 chance of Hrovell going to the one person who already had Hrovell, and with the Illwei elimination, but that Bort RB was sooo unfair too xD Alignment scanner finding Hazekiller during N1 could have been too devastating for us, and well, I did feel 3 Hazekillers were difficult for us to overcome. Illwei claiming to be the third is one of the big reasons we decided to go for the hammer. Village was very good analytically, you had all of us in your sights by D4 and we had to go the desperate route and it worked out, elim team mechanically winning the game, that feels weird to say :P. Bro, what are you ranting so much about in your GM PMs??? xD I literally had an audible sigh of relief when you gave me village points in N3/D4, like "finalllyyyy" xD I jinxed it onto myself when i mentioned that same thing a few days back before this game started :P. Can confirm coordinating with a large elim team is definitely fun! And finally, Kas, sorry for betraying you >> but you know what they say. You aren't a True Bro until you've stabbed your bro in the back (I didn't even do that smh ). Wyrm set a very high bar for that one. :P. Edit: smh I forgot to thank our game runners. Thanks a lot for managing the game guys @StrikerEZ, @Experience and @Devotary of Spontaneity! I had a blast playing it :).
  20. Well, we definitely have a prowler. There is an increase in the votes on Tani, which can happen only by Rioting. And if any of the three outed elims had used Riot, there should be net change of zero in the votes because the added vote and self-vote cancel cancels each other out. Which means there's a sixth elim on the Karn train *sigh* Edit: @StrikerEZ, I'm fine with 24 hr day cycles.
  21. Yeah, I agree it's gotta be the work of an elim!Hazekiller, and I do think Karnatheon is the correct choice here for Hazekiller because he's been... more hidden? less in the spotlight? than Araris and Biplet. We do need all villagers to vote here guys, we don't know the amount of vote manips they've got. Edited to add: I do think the presence of a Hazekiller in the elim team might make a 5-member team more plausible and balancing, but it's still good to be cautious.
