  1. I can also head toward the island, the camp isn't really getting anywhere.
  2. Uh… what exactly established that? You’ve suggested it but I don’t remember any specific new info on that from last cycle. Hopefully V!TJ wouldn’t be lying, but even if there’s not much accomplished by exeing a doppel, it’s essentially the only option we’ve got to do something about them at the moment.
  3. Just a note on this as the Medic - it does seem that there is some form of attack that my role describes, but it's not a normal one. It might be a thing where there's stages to being attacked or injured, and what my role does does different things depending on what that condition is. That being said, TJ. That seems like a LG92 role... nope, think I remembered it wrong.
  4. I tried to medic Wizard, and instead seemingly just snooped him and found where he’d previously explored (which is consistent with what he’s said, so not as helpful). Weirdly, that didn’t happen on the first person I mediced. But I’m not entirely sure what happened on them, need to double check.
  5. To some degree, yes - but generally no. Previous Conversion games the Elims have a limited number of total conversions, otherwise there'd be no way for the Village to win against an Elim team that regularly does their Conversion. Granted, this clearly isn't just a normal Conversion game, especially if there were no starting Dopplegangers. It's not our wincon to get rid of all the Dopplegangers either. ... but also, if you think that there's 3 doppelgangers and 4 villagers, we need to do something about that. That's hammer range, not to mention half our info possibly being tainted.
  6. Honestly if we really all did start as the same wincon, then my reasoning's less strong - most of it was due to D1 wanting to go for Polly + mentioning of teams when most of us I think suspected (but didn't know) that we were all on the same team. A few other more meta things about D1's results not matching others or mine, but again not sure how much that's a good explanation for anything.
  7. No, I don’t mind. Ask away! (Reasoning for Wiz specifically or for exeing in general? Either way, I’ll have more time to actually respond when I’m more fully off work.)
  8. Speaking of back burner, probably time to take the exe off of it. What do you say, Wizard?
  9. I wouldn't be too surprised if there's one "big" thing in each zone, but also the Tower and Lighthouse are probably best bets. I'll be doing Medic things today. Not going to go into what that means, but it's pretty much what you probably think it is.
  10. Kind of depends how much we can match what we get as GM PM results. Usually that's a bit too metagamey for my tastes. Quivil or Hoid Slayer would be the mech answers, Wiz would be the tonal one for me. But I'm also wondering if a shot in the dark is too dark for now.
  11. Okay. So. Do we have any actual leads for an exe? Or are we still leaning towards not? There are allegedly doppleganger(s) around - but there also might not be. And to be honest I’ve got one or two leads on who to go for but they’re all quite Meta (and perhaps too meta).
  12. So, they were the Medic of this expedition. Better act as one. The Medic went through their - his? eh, their would work for now - medical supplies. Seemed to be in order with the other Earths they'd been to. Gauze, tourniquets, a thermometer, sleeping pills, epinephrine, a few other pills they didn't immediately recognize but had some generally antiparasitic effects. A standard medical kit for the set time period, nothing out of the ordinary. Entirely average. Perfectly normal. That was wrong for two reasons. This world wasn't natural, unless Area X was one great lie. That, and the Medic's eye spotted extra depth in the lower half of the case, and a hidden latch underneath a particularly normal looking stethoscope. Within the hidden case were fourteen small syringes, all neatly ordered and sorted. The Medic reached out slowly for one of the seven unlabeled ones, trying to weigh it, before letting a tiny part of themself touch the end. Instant numbness, that took a moment to dissipate even with the Medic's... unique physiology. Tranquilizers. Heavy ones, if a scratch dose had that effect. The Medic didn't bother testing one of the remaining seven, the ones with a tiny skull and crossbones etched into the glass. "They really didn't trust this to go well, did they," the Medic mused. "'They', or 'you'?" the voice responded. The Medic made no motion. The two of them... still hadn't determined how exactly a universe they found by Strife worked. Whether they became a new twin-individual within it, or whether AraRaash's particular skillset replaced a person that up to that point had a hopefully fulfilling and complete life, before they were abruptly spared from whatever horrific nonsense awaited them that the pair of them got to then experience. It didn't bother the Medic as much as Faleast. It didn't bother the Medic at all. Much. "Alright," the Medic said, swiftly packing up their bags. "Where to, then?"
  13. AraRaash opened his eyes. This was not where he'd last closed them. He didn't particularly need sleep anymore, but he and Faleast were beginning to get slightly desperate looking for an Answer. Waking up in strange places wasn't that unusual in that search, as the multiverse scattered him around like a pool ball on an Abraded table with infinite holes. This was... more different than it usually was, though. Let's see. Mostly human - check. Bones - not his good set, and not a familiar one, but a good one, lean, young. Environment - had trees and dirt, so not Roshar or Taldain or Zebral, but that didn't narrow it down much more. Position - lying down in some kind of sleeping bag, felt artificial, so assembly-line or later. Strife - away for time being. People - around, talking, he'd deal with that later. Faleast... "Here," the ever-present voice said. Some knot of tension on AraRaash's leg loosened. Faleast sometimes had different forms in these different moments, but they'd always stuck together. Separating would likely be disastrous, especially with so little information. What else. Universe - well, he had nothing on that one. "It's an Earth analogue, I think. So a level up from the cosmeres, but not by far. Something Investiture-like, though, around us all. Something eldritch. I'll see what else I can find," Faleast said, as his voice faded. He'd woken up before AraRaash did. Survival helped him with that, although not with their overall problem. That left AraRaash left to impersonate an unknown individual amongst another suspicious group, hoping they wouldn't be looking for him and discover they had something ancient and eldritch within their group as well. Just another day in the multiverse.
  14. Should we see if we can coordinate location-goings? Or leave that to own decisions?
