Coliver had made her decision, even if she wasn't entirely sure of its consequences. She could have joined them, waited for... for whatever the fairy had in store. But she hadn't. She hadn't trusted it. She'd tried to find the person in charge, Commander Viscen But Viscen was dead. Marton was dead. Ap was almost certainly dead. And Makazi, Vale, everyone she found, everyone who didn't trust... couldn't remember. That didn't make sense, with what Thistle had mentioned about how whatever-Ap-could-do worked. Unless Makazi had also died? Or had she just avoided the conflict enough to not hear the song? But Not-Marton also remembered, or seemingly had some reaction to her remembering. "So, I'm with a group of mostly-refugees, without anyone who's really a fighter, and I have no idea where it is or what to do next," she said. Vale stared blankly at her. She'd gotten some medical training relevant to their current situation, but mostly Vale was busy making sure the children avoided frostbite. Which was noble, Coliver supposed. Aside from the whole time-loop-murder scenarios. "Coliver, why do you need to do anything? You got everyone out of the city. That was heroic - and stupid - enough," she said, returning to her kit. "Don't get yourself killed." "I don't think it is enough," Coliver said. "Like I said, this is... big." She hadn't told them what had happened from what she'd gathered from the rest. How she'd died once and nearly died again. Don't get yourself killed. The worst that happens is you'll die, but you've come back from that. You'll survive. She'd regained her memories even without Ap. Maybe because she'd been dead. Maybe some other way. But maybe that gave her an advantage. She didn't need to be where Ap was, at least not right now. Coliver got up. She needed to get to... the temple, right? There was a group heading there soon. A group, if she was right, that had some of the people that had killed her. And if only she could remember, then maybe they wouldn't recognize her... Of course, maybe she was wrong. Maybe she needed Ap. But in that case, they were all probably in trouble from those earthquakes. Besides, forgetting the feeling of a knife in her heart wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

To expand the Voices a little bit: Divergent suspects Coco, Archer, TJ, and Burnt Wonko suspects Coco, TJ, and Burnt, somewhat Archer (allegedly is "floppy") and somewhat Stick but doesn't think Stick-Burnt are e-e. TJ is... adamant about a Coco-Archer e-e team. Agreed with Dive's Elim picks (minus himself) but focuses much more on those two than Burnt or Stick. Drake hasn't been as explicit but more in pieces - he thinks e!Archer is reasonable with v!TJ but doesn't necessarily think TJ is V, thinks that Archer/TJ/Coco is a fairly reasonable trio but hasn't purported a fourth, and also wants to see if Archer explodes himself on Araris' explody porch. Hasn't really given explicit Elim reads outside of that (in the dead doc) but he was pretty read-happy while alive. Ash is interested in the Archer-Coco-TJ core, and... honestly doesn't suspect Burnt as much as the dead do. But Archer,Burnt,Coco,TJ is the main elim team prediction of 2-3 of the 4 dead and even TJ agrees with the first three. I'll probably hunt for some reads aside from that. If we assume we've exed only one Elim, it's probably TJ, with Dive->Drake->Wonko in ascending V order. TJ's been somewhat villagey in the dead doc but in ways that are kind of easy to fake (or are explained by being legitimately behind, which is more NAI). @Archer, why not go for Araris last night?

Coliver held the tree root with as much strength as she could. Moons. That was... that was a long way down still. Not terribly long. Probably not survivably long. Weird how small that seemed, now. She was going to die. Again. But at least this time it'd be from her own skullheaded decision and the rule of gravity rather than... than... what had happened before. Cindra was reaching. For her? For the rock next to her? Would she stop to help, or was finding Ap more important? Maybe she could slide again, grab that little ledge... Then someone's hand connected, and Coliver was pulled to salvation with a yelp. Coliver wasn't a very spiritual person, she thought. At least, before being murdered and resurrected by magic. She had to acknowledge it's existence from history, it's benefits from the continued evidence of her own existence. But that didn't particularly mean she was happy being rescued from her own decisions by a faceless disappearing act, nor the presence of a restoring spirit. Both were probably good things. She didn't know fairies too well, but she knew enough to know the being inside Marton probably wasn't one. Still, she looked at the beckoning light with the apprehension of a smaller fish too used to guiding lights leading to angler's mouths. "I'm... not sure. Someone should follow. Maybe not me," she said. "We still need to find out what happened, even if not right now. And... who's in charge? Or was Ap? Someone killed me, someone did this, and whoever it is they're changing their strategy as if they're also keeping their memories. Who's in charge of organizing things? Viscen?"

Sorry, Ashbringer can't come to the phone right now, he's currently suffering the consequences of writing a multi-person Reads List when he probably should have been working. Coliver is not exactly a tactful revenant "I don't know, one minute I was in the temple getting water, the next I got... hit in the head or... and then... I don't like thinking about it," Coliver said, hand creeping up her chest again. The pieces weren't important, were they? The gritty details? She barely knew them herself, but she wasn't entirely sure how much that was a defense mechanism or her actually being... never mind. Never ever would be good enough, in fact. Thistle dashed away. "... wait, did you say reset time?" ---- Coliver was not the only one to see Ap fall. But this time, she didn't think a twisted miracle would make her rise again. Amora was holding Thistle. Maybe they were holding each other. Maybe Amora was holding Thistle back. Maybe she had no moonfell idea. But Coliver... her right hand still was near her chest, but her right balled into a fist. "I'll... I'll go look," she said, looking down at the cliff face. It was steep, but not impassable. And Ap was down there. Almost certainly with no chance. But certainly if no one went to help right now. She barely had taken one step before the doubt hit her. What was that? She hardly even knew Ap. She'd seen her, of course, but she had no idea that the Deku-or-Terminan could cause... whatever had happened. But she saved your life. That... that wasn't her voice. Besides, if you fall too, the worst that happens is you die, and you've came back from that. ... Marton? But I think you'll survive. Coliver shook her head, the moment passing. It wasn't... Marton was dead. No song would bring him back, and she refused to believe that laughing corpse had been her friend. A child had just died, regardless of anything else, and she could maybe do something about it. So she took another step. And another. She'd already watched one friend fall this week. Coliver had stood above that time, while Makazi had gone to help. Coliver would just need to be Makazi.

I don't like staking my Exes on probablys if it can be avoided. Plus the Bremen mask exists. I trust Araris more than TJ. I don't particularly trust him, but I think E!Araris could be more beneath radar than he currently is, or alternatively much more defensive than he currently is. Plus losing the Blast Mask as an option kinda sucks, even if I suspect Araris may be bluffing. Plus resistance. Araris and TJ are pretty even in terms of thread suspicion, but it sure feels like it's been a lot harder to get a TJ push off the ground.

SE tries not to turn a 5-page discussion into a 3-way tie challenge: I would prefer not to exe Araris this cycle. TJ is preferred to me, but I'd swap coco rather than letting it sit. Curious if @Doc12 or @Stick. have swap thoughts (or if my Village buddies @Wahrheitswächter or @The Unknown Medallion have ideas)

Coliver's grin faltered. "I... I don't know what happened. I was here for a night and then..." That was a lie. She knew what happened. But knowing and saying are different things, aren't they? Knowing can be wrong. Saying makes it real. She wasn't entirely sure what happened, though no explanation was really good. Maybe she'd just fainted, cracked her head against the floor. Maybe whatever had happened to time happened to her early. But no. She knew. And they deserved to know, especially if someone else was missing. "... I... I think someone killed me," Coliver finally whispered.

I moved my vote - for now - but IMO you seem fairly opportunistic. Someone votes, you vote pretty quick in succession, or you have a list of reads that you hop between without really sticking to one, or to your strongest one. Which, as you note, is something others (Araris and Archer, for ones) are also guilty of. Part of it is the lateness of the turn, less time to propose new Exe candidates vs push the ones you actually think you can get exed. What's your opinion on TJ and Archer? Hi

TL; DR is there's a lot of overlap in E!Reads that I'm not seeing play out in votes, and that makes me suspicious.

Coliver did not like the cold. They'd found the tracks of the main group leading toward the Goron village and followed them here, though Tersde was a bit worried that it was so easy to keep track of the group. Coliver wasn't too sure that mattered. Things were different this time, and not just by her own actions. And there were enough stories of time in Termina that she didn't think she was the only one who could remember the prior three days. The being in Marton certainly seemed to react to it. Much more than the imminent danger, in fact. As if it didn't think it was relevant that the night would be filled with flame over the fact that she knew about it. Coliver was back to thinking of him as an it. Strange. But that laugh... it wasn't Zora. Or anything she'd heard on Termina. In some ways it was a bit comforting, knowing she was right, that it couldn't be Marton. Mostly it was wrong. Like the warmth of a burning childhood home. The Goron seemed welcoming enough of refugees, at least. They'd had their own form of strife. There were more and more faces she vaguely remembered from the forests, though she found herself looking for... "Marton's not here," Makazi said. That was at least right. Whatever it was, it was pretty conspicuous with that sword. Or stance. Or... something. But Coliver spotted someone else. Their eyes had glanced over her, looking for something, but she knew that face. "Thistle! Hello!" she said, leaving Makazi and the others to join her. "And you're... Amora? Right? Please tell me you reme... I think we met before." @Doc12 @coco.pudding --- Not so sure it's clear cut; someone like Stick is also pretty inactive, but TJ's more elimmy to me. Maybe for personal reasons, but aD3 was a lot of him focusing on me as the NK instead of anything that would have made a difference, vs Stick being more moment-to-moment impact. But also TJ's said he'd be more free today, and well... @|TJ| any reads preferences?

Maybe the Elim team had reason to believe that Wonko held the PM Mask, either from an earlier PM or just intuition that Wonko would go for it. Then the Elims maybe decided that aiming to shut down PMs was better than aiming for a better NK target. Besides, I don't think a single person E-read Wonko. Not sure why people are surprised he got NKed. But I don't think that's enough to confirm V!Wonko or otherwise confirm E!Dive.
