I am unusually proud of being called out for flying under the radar, it means my whole mini-Araris shtick is working Honestly, I got a bit caught off guard by realizing D2 could be Exelo, and then Coffee's claim vs Drake's claim took up that day. I'm more used to longer games with more people. I have more of an inclination to believe Drake - mostly because of the initial accidental-PM-gambit, but also because Drake and I had swapped roles during C1, so I knew he was a Steward before D2. (Also I'm not dead, but this game seems to have a lot of roles in it anyway.) But that also leaves me alongside TUO, and I don't think I trust his silence as much as you probably don't trust the both of ours.

Well that’s one way to compromise, I suppose.

This... actually doesn't have lylo/exelo on there but it does have most other ones used!

Probably doesn’t help that half of us call it Exelo (or maybe that’s just me).

Yeaaaah pretty sure that means RBM is lying here. Unless the Steward showed a self-alignment as Evil? But that wouldn't make any sense anyway (and even if it did, would still be e!RBM).

Interrupting the Lieutenant discussion for a brief moment on my lunch break - highly doubt there'd just be 1. If there was just 1, and 4B finds them, they get roleblocked for all eternity. They get one more unblockable kill, but after that they just lose if they don't hit 4B. My guess would be 2, with maybe a Double Agent in the mix somewhere depending on Village power.

Maybe just a difference in style, then. I like getting inactives out early. Less likely to burn us later, and Elim/wolf metas tend to be more inactive. I also am a bit more proactive about self-defense, because I’ve gotten exed a lot from me not doing that. I’m a bit of a lategame player. But also, IMO, voting for someone in hopes of stirring discussion and voting for someone in hopes that they do something are fairly different goals.

? RBM has made one post, and it’s in French. I’m pretty comfortable leaving my vote there.

Emphasis on "should" Although I really should, true What's noteworthy? I'd like to think I've done more noteworthy things than RBM so far.

So I’m realizing the odds of me ever being online for any rollover are… uh, low. I’m around still, but rollovers may be tricky.

The alarm for emergency stations blared, and the Fourth Bridge burst into motion. Or most people did. Ara didn't. She instead circled in her usual chair, staring at an indicator panel that suggested to the casual observer that they find a more interesting panel to look at. Most people would agree outside of emergency stations; Ara would vehemently oppose, even as each light appeared to be a vibrant, verdant green. As would the Captain, she assumed. He considered life support systems relatively important. Ara scowled at the panel of lights. It was green. It was bright. The captain would call it excellent. Most other Bridgemen would call it perfect. Ara, accounting for the mass movement of crew around the ship, might hazard to call it acceptable. Each light was specially configured, one for each room or general area of the ship. Perfect emerald-Stormlight green meant that precisely the amount of oxygen ducted to that room was being used up by the breathing individuals within that room. If the color tended yellow, that meant that not enough air was getting to the room; if it tended blue, that meant that there was too much. Red meant there was a leak somewhere within the room. Red didn't happen often, but it still seemed to be the color most people worried about. Technically speaking, it was Ara's job to make sure that any yellow on the indicator was solved before it became a problem and any red on the indicator was solved sooner than that. She could count on one hand the number of times she'd had to do any of that - honestly she could count on one thumb how many times. It was also her job to sit in this chair for 8 hours a day to watch the indicators for any major changes. The job did come with some neat perks. She did like not having to stand around all day. But Ara had an additional perk for this job. She had the Fourth Heightening. A useful tool, especially since she could buy more Breath with her salary, and a few more flights could get her a ticket to immortality. Not that she needed it, but it could come in handy. However, it meant she could see the slightest hints of blue or yellow in the lights. The slightest sliver of inefficiency. Ara's real job was to hit the right series of buttons controlling valves and switches and ducts to get all the lights a pure emerald-Stormlight green. She'd managed it three times in the past five years. Each time had lasted no longer than a second. And each time had been glorious. She was still trying, flicking a few levers. But she did have Scadrians on board to worry about. Best to focus on that. You never know what those Scadrians can be up to, mused the inner voice of Technician Ara Ra'Ash.

... yeah I'm in. AraRaash In Space went so well last time! I'll probably think of a better RP cover character though. In the meantime... Is the Scadrian Infiltrator's ability permanent? Or only for the cycle where they're targeting the player with the alignment scan change? Does the Spren Intelligence still win if they're dead, but the game isn't ended by the time requirement?

MR 69: Aftermath - There are only Three MuskeTators
Ashbringer replied to Araris Valerian's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I wanted to RP my Epic a bit, but I’ve been busy with other things (and also realized that “telepathy power that increases the more people are present” doesn’t work so well with a small, rapidly decreasing mafia population). I think the only main issue with IEs is something I realized in the last cycle, which is one faction can shut them down and deny them a win quite easily. How much that’s a problem, I’m not entirely sure, but if a player is similtaneously Redirected and Roleblocked, it would take two friendly Redirects to counter (one to protect the player from the enemy redirect and another to redirect away the enemy roleblock). So giving them some extra action economy might help with that. -

This was fun! I liked the setup a lot. I think there could probably be some tweaks to avoid the IE inevitability, but it made for an interesting set of intertwined abilities. -

I see someone took the idea I pitched in a PM earlier of “blatantly lie about anything and everything”. This is going to be one interesting headache. -

Well, once they start teaming with teams that aren’t mine, the math can change a little bit But also more, at least it would serve a purpose. I’d rather vote someone else, especially if RBM’s open to talking. Who else, not really sure.- 289 replies
