  1. Schrodinger agreed it was a good number and wondered why half the people had become 8-bit since he last visited.
  2. Why is EVERYONE Truthless of Shinovar?
  3. So, I joined about four months ago, after first reading Mistborn almost three years ago now. I first found the Shard sometime after that after discovering the cosmere on the Coppermind... somehow. I'm not entirely sure, although I know I managed to spoil the entirety of Words of Radiance for myself after reading Way of Kings... so about a year ago. Mainly I just spent time looking for random answers to questions I had about kandra and Hemalurgy and things. It might have also been an attempt to locate the release date for The Lost Metal... sigh. Soon. Finding the Shard, I then discovered the Reckoners RP (yes, that one), and enjoyed reading through the chaos immensely. Then for some odd reason I decided to devote several hours of my limited lifetime to read through the Question threads in an effort of understanding what in the world was going on. From there I moved to the Alleyverse, which... wasn't all that different. Just more cosmere, cookies, and certain sharp implements. Then I noticed that the Alleyverse was about to start a new Era, and figured why not and made my account. (It's not like quarantine's given me much to do...). After several attempts to balance an insane Dustbringer, a Soulcaster-Lurcher, and a Cadmium savant, I started my RP journey. From there I moved to Sanderson Elimination, and now I'm coming full circle back to the Reckoners RP. (This is an official shoutout for the Reckoners RP! We're trying to reboot, and we would love to have new players.) Impact on me... I think I've improved quite a bit on social skills, as without this place I'd probably still be playing video games and not leaving my house all day. (Well, I still don't leave my house all day, but it's variety). I also never would have given much thought to the Shards like Dominion, who I'm realizing have... quite the capability. Getting this also was one of the final steps into getting me Discord, which has drastically increased my ability to actually socialize with other groups. As for my favorite memory, besides first joining and writing my Alleyverse characters, has got to be my first SE game, which... was insane. If you don't know what Sanderson Elimination is, it's a Mafia/Werewolf style game where some players (Eliminators) are trying to eliminate the rest (Villagers) in various cosmere settings. My first game was LG66, a game set on Era 2 Scadrial, where there was also a solo role (the Kandra) that could only win on its own. I joined, got Village ('coincidentally' getting Allomantic Cadmium as a role, the same as one of my Alleyverse characters), and had a lot of ideas about the Kandra being able to "bodyswap" to another player. The more experienced players doubted that. Then, of course, I got turned into the Kandra. Chaos ensued, and I ended up doing most of the Village's work for them in a nailbiter, but somehow I never actually was Eliminated. And thus was born Faleast and AraRaash, an immortal pair of Cognitive Shadow and Kandra stuck together, wandering the cosmere and constantly finding themselves in Village vs Eliminator situations and generally collecting Investiture and causing chaos. Other notable memories: getting four upvotes for posting " *Cough* ", making pineapple-pen memes about the Knight Radiant Orders, Ferocity, freaking out about the Dawnshard novella, and having an SE round title named "Ash Fell From The Sky" to commemorate me being Eliminated via a special-order Highstorm from the Stormfather himself because why not.
  4. The meeses sent tactical meese to save the besieged not-yet-meese-still-moose.
  5. So they conspired to conglomerate to increase their conversing effectiveneeses.
  6. The geeses tried to negotiate a piece treaty. But nobody took them literally seriously.
  7. And depending how well the performer sharpened the bow, occasionally lacerated.
  8. binding the bow to the stem, making a smooth surface to twirl it around.
  9. It depended where you put the strings on the trombone, of course.
  10. Schrodinger stepped through a rift in spacetime and sheepishly asked if he could add some pizza.
  11. Er... I hereby decree he remembers that, too. Although he’s yet any place on Sel known as Ireland...
  12. Technically AraRaash hasn't ever died yet. Technically Faleast did, once, but then his soul got stuck to a Hemalurgic spike. To date, they've been launched into a highstorm special-ordered by the Stormfather (or that's my headcanon), flash-mobbed, hurled off a cliff, and eliminated from a Rithmatist tournament... but they can survive all that with some clever Bloodmaking. Speaking of the tournament, I hereby decree that the Forgotten has left their body for reasons and Faleast and AraRaash have no memory of the surrounding events and fourth wall breaks, aside from a ticking clockwork coin and an uncanny ability to draw perfectly round circles.
  13. I was trying to get my team to all use kills D1 to try and kill the Taylors, so we all picked targets... and then everyone else protected themselves instead. So... random?
  14. ... that does not excuse there being twelve boxes.
  15. Yup. The Matson swarm was my idea. Apparently I was the only one to actually do what I said I was going to do... I had a lot more faith in the alliance than I should. Although I had a good laugh from TJ and Gears still planning together to roleblock and kill Ad Venture when they were really just both stabbing each other in the back... Also, I’m the one who got Shard of Reading killed D1... heh. Although I did a whole lot of nothing the rest of the game. Congrats to Vapor!
  16. I think that’s the plan either way; it’s just a question of which is in the forefront. Also, 3 people have voted so far, so take current results with a grain of salt
  17. Hail the Dustmother!
  18. Hmm. Right now Byron just has significantly quicker reflexes some of the time, the lightspren around the othe times (and still very fast natural reflexes), so he’s just barely drawing on the powers. That should work to restabilize him, at least for a while, but depending on how much Byron connects the spren to things he may realize something’s missing. So long as he stabilizes towards the Willshaper side (the false-reality side). Either way, that could lead to him being attacked soon. I’ve been toying with the mental pull trying to take him back to the Scholar’s Guild, but it might make more sense to just have him attacked on the streets.
  19. Cool! But the follow-up question... what would happen if they win? If it’s not a memory that’s the problem, but a powerset. I guess they would try and stabilize him back to the Willshaper side, then wipe any memory of the stress caused by both powers?
  20. So, since Byron is currently running around in circles, I figure I should probably just spill the ideas I have for him interacting with the reality shift. The main problem is... I don't know if that works. At all. Fatebreaker hasn't been online in a month, so I don't know if I can ask him if that's a plausible result of the conditions Byron was subjected to. And I don't want to just do it and be the one that doesn't fit with what's happening to everything else. So... can that work? Would it invoke a reaction from Aylitha? Thoughts? Questions? Cookies?
  21. A chance for Faleast to get Dahkor bones? Sign me up. Faleast will be a retired merchant from Teod, wondering what all the fuss is about while simultaneously asking very pointed questions about the Reod and Elantris.
  22. ...How come Lknik gets to be eliminated by public humiliation and departure from politics while Faleast gets eliminated by being hurled off of a cliff in a fistfight? And don't say because he'd survive the landing.
  23. You know it's got to be a good game when it ends with the last man standing. @Illwei, you did an excellent job as an Elim. Even I started second-guessing myself at the end just due to how many times Pyro's name popped up in the explanation for why I suspected you... just not enough to trust you to vote on him together. Turns out I was right all along. You did a great job being unpredictable to the point I couldn't understand you being either alignment, and in the crucial moment you managed to win over one of the most experienced players in this game who didn't end up as an Elim alongside you. (I'd also like to note that this is the second time I've lost a lynch tie to Illwei. I also did that way back in QF46, when Illwei was the Korathi Cultist... let's not make a pattern out of this. I have enough suspicions about "R"NG in this game anyway... ). What else... oh yeah. Sorry for accidentally soft clearing an Elim for so long, and sorry for hyper-tunneling on Mint... again. But other than that I think I did pretty well. It was a really fun game even if we had to reverse our plan for reads halfway through, and I think I spotted a real Elim tell... which I'm not sure if I should share. I kind of like the thought of being a scary endgame player...
