Amen. Yeah neither religious group is great, but neither is horrible. Despite all that religion should never be a reason to wipe out a country. I agree with @Oltux72 that a unified Idris/Hallendren would probably be better but a slaughter by zombie army is probably not the way to go.

Yeah you’re right. Sorry Haylo. I rescind my concession.

Dunno, I kind of like skimmer Okay, I will give you that one. Leecher is a little cool as well.

Like the title says. Despite what you may think about the coolness of each magic system, Ferring names are way cooler than Misting names. I mean Skimmer, Sentry, Bloodmaker, Trueself. I could name a dozen more Compare that to Allomancy. Coin shot, Lurcher, Soother, Rioter? Those are objectively more lame. Change my mind. (I could make this a meme)

When I read BoM the first time what really tipped me off that it was Kel and not TLR (In addition to the Hathsin scars) was the final word of the book: survive. Gives me chills every time I read the epilogue

YKYASF when you don’t understand why Gold is the best Olympic medal, when Bronze is clearly more Allomantically useful, but then you remember Feruchemy. -
Can you transfer power from one metalmind to another?
Mage replied to DoctaDajman's topic in Mistborn
I think you could do this. With compounders they burn the metalmind for the extra boost of power and IIRC can store the excess. I believe this would function the same way. As to your second question I don't know, but I would guess not. When you tap the metalmind you taint the unkeyed investiture with your own Identity, making it keyed. To disagree with @mathiau I think that this would be possible (and I believe it is said in book to be possible though I don't recall where). A feruchemist storing Identity (I don't think it's necessary to store Connection as well) is akin to both AB+ type blood (they can receive transfusions of any type) and O- type blood (they can give transfusions to any type) at the same time. (Anyone who knows more about blood please correct my biology.) (I am realizing that I use a lot of parenthetical statements) -

Is it too late for me to join? If so that's totally alright, but if not I'm totally in. -
"Perhaps the bottom of the sea? Or Mars? It seems that no matter where we are on Earth, Accura (And by that I mean not the 'us' Accura, but the 'not' Accura that is trying to kill us) can find us. The moon does not seem like such a bad idea after all."

I thought up a good pun and was about to create a new thread for it, when I did a search and found this thread, so instead I am reviving this. What is Mitsubishi's best selling vehicle? The Thaida-car For explanation, Mitsubishi is the car brand with the logo that is identical to the Ghostblood symbol.

Kalad's Phantoms! And then there was that one scene in warbreaker when Lightsong and Blushweaver discussed using their own names along with pronouns referring to them as curses.

Sounds right to me. If I had to guess, the relationship between base 16 and base 10 is similar to High Imperial vs. Normal Speech. I'm not an anthropologist or anything, but I suspect that so many number systems are based on 10 just because that is how many fingers humans have.

"It appears so," Michial whispered back, "Woden hasn't gotten us killed yet. Despite his absurd loyalty to Accura, I trust him to keep us away from them." Michial started on the pathway to the moon. If I die, I die, he thought. He was too old, and had been through too much to care anymore.

Naplar walked into the planning room. Apothem, he reminded himself, Your name is now Apothem. He would have to get used to that, just like he would have to get used to the bronze spike between his ribs and having access to zinc allomancy. For his whole life he had only Soothed. He had gotten quite good at it. Of course he had never used it to influence government or business deals. That would have violated the Allomantic Agreement of '94, and Apothem's father had been very strict about maintaining lawfulness in his house. Well, Apothem's commitment to the law ended now. He was a member of the Set, facilitating the return of Trell, and a better life for all Scadrians. The law was too restricting for a goal as ambitious as that. Tangent was the only one to arrive so far. "Hello Tangent," Apothem said, instinctively Soothing some of the man's fatigue, "Are most members of the Set usually this late to meetings?"

"Err, yes. The moon has no atmosphere. Air is not in this place, though I would not be surprised if you do not need to breathe. I need to breathe though. I hope I don't have to decide between choking on the moon and being killed by one of Accura's monsters."
-
"Although I hated my government, for some reason I still feel bitter that we lost the race to the moon to your country. I will come along to see what all the fuss was about. Umm, Woden how will we breathe?"

We all know that Mitushbi is just a front company for the earth branch of the Ghostbloods. It’s a right convenient way to keep surveillance on the whole world, selling cars. -
Haha. *facepalm* I should have thought of that. You guys are probably right. But even though they haven’t been invented do you think this is a possibility?

So I'm doing a reread of WoR, and in one of Dalinar's visions he sees one of the Knights Radiant talking to herself. I'm wondering if she is using some sort of communication device to talk to other Radiants. Do we know what she is doing there, or if it is telecommunication, how she is doing it? If she is somehow communicating remotely with another Radiant, my theory is that it uses a conjoiner that is precise enough to pick up and transmit vibrations, esentially creating a telephone (though you would have to use some fancy aluminum tricks to make yourself able to still walk around). This would be much more practical in combat than a Spanreed. Let me know what you think is going on in this scene, or if I am totally wrong. Even if I am totally wrong do you think we will see fabrials like this in the future?

I think someone has already stolen Taln's Honorblade by the time he reaches Kholinar in tWoK epilogue, so I'm pretty sure that is just an ordinary spren Shardblade that he drops there. IIRC Dalinar has to spend a week bonding that blade to set the trap for Amaram in WoR, so I think it was just something Taln did, not a property of Honorblades. Helaran started out as a lighteyes, so if he did in fact have an Honorblade that unfortunately wouldn't give us much insight into the effect of them on eye color.

When the Ghostbloods are hunting you. I mean, call me paranoid but I swear I see their symbol on cars driving around town. -
I think Cosmere is Adonalsium’s realm and everything else is the territory of the God Beyond who created this universe (completely different from ours). I would guess from what we have seen of shards, Ado’s power wasn’t infinite because 16 x not infinity = not infinity. I think the God Beyond is more like the God of monotheism.
-
That makes sense. The Cosmere is a small galaxy right? (My personal opinion is that the rest of the universe is rather empty but that’s just me). I don’t remember the exact quote, but I’m era 2 Steris said something to the effect of “do you ever feel like the Cosmere is playing a cruel joke on you?” I think it’s just a linguistics thing where anywhere someone on Earth would say Universe Brandon swaps it for Cosmere, except in warbreaker.
