Vivace sighed. These villagers were quite daft. In fact... maybe she should tell them that. Yeah! 

Vivace leapt to her feet. "HEY, YOU DAFT VILLAGERS! IT WASN'T HIM - IT WAS ME! AND I'M ABOUT TO ESCAPE THROUGH THE SECRET PORTAL I MADE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE TOWN!" Beginning to run away but keeping aware of Aerith, she thought, It sure would be nice if we had an illusioner with us. 

The fire began to spread, leaping from house to house.

Melody would not have been attacked on watch. (I was going to have the attack wake everybody up, but Q took care of it. ) Cupra wants to have a private discussion with Melody that I planned to happen during that slot of time.

So there's a discussion that is coming up, or that we should do sometime? Difference between already planned and needs to be planned.

Hmm, impressive.

Although Vivace had hoped the fire would spread to some buildings, she supposed even nature failed sometimes. She grabbed another torch, ran to around the same area, and lit some thatch roofs on fire. She ran back to her previous vantage point. 

"LOOK, THE ROOF'S ON FIRE!!!!!" She yelled.

Vivace found a store of firewood, lit a couple of places, then dropped the torch next to it. She ran around the building, waited for a count of ten, then called "Oh, no! Someone dropped their torch! The town's catching on fire!" She circled the mob, staying in cover, until she was at the perfect place to grab Aerith once the mob was sufficiently distracted.

Vivace nonchalantly walked behind a member of the mob, then bopped him on the head and snatched his torch. She ran behind a building so he wouldn't spot her and smirked, then ran around the building just to be safe.

"Calling? Calling you?" Melody asked.

Aria tromped inside, covered in snow. "When's Santa coming?"

"Soon, I hope, but he can't come until we're all asleep. You ready for bed?" said Herate.

I love all musicals. I especially love Wicked, Six, Dear Evan Hansen, Company, anything by Stephen Sondheim, Little Shop of Horrors, Hadestown, a bunch that have never ever been on Broadway, and Hamilton! I love listening to the music while I read. It helps me focus - yay brain problems. 

"Alright," said Vivace to Pior. "There's been a change in plans. I need to cause a diversion. Will you go get Val and then make sure the portal is clear?"

Vivace raised her eyebrows. Oh, really? Couldn't tell. She sighed.
