    That reminds me of what happened yesterday. It was our student teacher's last day of class, so the teacher brought doughnuts. We each got one, and then we played a math Kahoot. To spice it up, the teacher said that whoever won could have another doughnut. So everyone played but the teacher(including the student teacher) and I won! I got a second doughnut, and to top it off, this was the first day I'd forgotten lunch this year. It was pretty great.

    "Oh, nothing special. My father was a farmer. He worked hard in the fields and was always so tired by his work that he never really got to be with us. My mom was devastated when he died. Somehow, she still loved him. When she left, I couldn't stand being alone with my older brother always doing the hard work my father and he had. He was wearing himself out just trying. So I left too. Decided to find another way to live, and hoped my brother would be smart enough to find something else as well."

    "Oh, okay. I guess I'll just go for a short walk, then." Vivace smiled in a way she'd seen Chorale do it and jogged off into the woods.

    "Yes, we will." said Cadenza, getting the last word. She slid herself onto the boat, motion was easier if she didn't actually move.

    Coda went searching for one of the people who had come to the academy with her. She hadn't seen as many girls as there were boys, which was weird.
