"All right." Melody sighed and roasted another Starburst-filled marshmallow. She'd stuffed them herself.

Minuet sighed and followed her.

Melody swallowed. "Aw, c'mon! What about campfire stories?"

Melody looked up guiltily, mouth stuffed full of marshmallows and Starbursts. "Hmm?" she managed.

Shoot. Do you wish to be added? Umm... sure. Clever, though.

Gears just voted for me. And yeah, I can see that. It's not hard to bold something, though. Especially when you're already making it red or green.

"Yes." Trylle folded her arms.

"Now take some chocolate and some graham crackers, and put them all together like this!" Melody demonstrated. "It's delicious!" She took a huge bite and grinned at Gerald; lips covered in sticky marshmallow, melted chocolate, and graham cracker crumbs.

"You can speak. Of course you can." Trylle smiled coldly. "I'm sure I could still easily escape. And if that doesn't work out, I'll just defeat you."

"Would you like one? I can always make more." Melody held one of the marshmallows toward Gerald.

Melody held out her perfectly golden-brown marshmallows. "I'm an expert on roasting marshmallows!"

Trylle took a slight step back. That venom might actually be able to harm her... and her immunity buckled under fire.

"Me me me!!!" Melody reached over and grabbed some marshmallows, stuffing one in her mouth while she speared three others on her stick.

Pia peeked around Phaedrus and shook her head. "I think he can stay."
