  1. Who is Fresco? Why is he here? What is his purpose, his identity? Where did he come from?
  2. Cavalier laughs and dashes at a very great speed down the mountain, oblivious to the gravity of the situation.
  3. Cruz didn't know whether to be excited or terrified that Lord Derival would be acting as judge. On one hand, he was a nobleman who actually lived up to the name (much like most of the nobleman, Cruz had come to realize) and his history of equality and diversity was on point. In some ways, the very opposite of the extremist Lord Tiago. On the other hand, Cruz was hoping for a miracle on the part of his lawyer. He honest-to-Hitlera believed he would get much less of a punishment if they knew Trace was primarily responsible for most of the deaths and terrorism. He hadn't anticipated her apparent bloodlust. But his lawyer didn't seem to think the truth would get Cruz very far, and so Cruz would have to stand trial with a lie.
  4. Cruz was handcuffed again and searched, then was brought out a long ways to the court room, where took a seat next to his lawyer, Ms. Delacroix. The judge hadn't entered the room yet, and those people on the right... did they already have a jury chosen? They must really want the trial to happen quickly, the verdict may even be decided today. He tried to look his best, but he couldn't do anything about his eyes, and his hair was a bit messy. He closed his eyes in anticipation--but that brought on memories of the nightmares, so instead he examined his surroundings as best he could. @Negative_Null (judge), @ProfetessaOscura (my lawyer), @The Ward's Guard (other lawyer):

  6. "Oh dear," said Cavalier, looking to the others. "Ought we to get out of the way?"
  7. 27.1 professional french bulldog windrunners flew under the larkin empire to placidly meet yet another sleeping Dakhor Mistborn Inquisitor Awakener.
  8. Cavalier shrugged, unconcerned, and scratched his ear.
  9. Cruz vomited into his toilet. He must have caught something. No matter. He cleaned himself up, got himself as presentable as he could, and awaited his trial.
  10. Alright, well I have to go to work right now.
  11. Is it actually the longest thread? It probably is. Anyways, I presume to participate I just keep posting?
  12. See, I don't have any part in this war between TLT and this thread, but I comment here because I think its better
  13. It is, but I don't want people to forget it when we advance.
  14. We are ONE PAGE away from being 1337.
  15. Fresco stood on his own. Apparently he was in some kind of resistance, now. He couldn't remember anything, but he got the impression that stories usually portrayed resistances as good, so he was glad for that. But he felt... empty. Without purpose. If only he could remember... Wait. Had he said remember? No, something else. To... recall... to bring back from memory. To remember. Ah, there it was again. It was a familiar word, but not in Fresco's language. Its best translation was "remember," which is why any attempt at pronouncing the word sort of sounded like that. Remember. Could he... could he do something with this?
  16. Twenty-seven professional french bulldog windrunners flew through the larkin empire to placidly meet yet another sentient Dakhor Mistborn inquisitor Awakener.
  17. Exodus stood by, casually eavesdropping on the conversation. He was a little curious as to the exchange, and wanted to know a bit more, but suddenly a young man walked up to him, the girl, and the Wanderer, staring. "And... who are you again?" the young man asked Exodus, ignoring the other two. "I am called Xeus," said Exodus, "And you are?" "Orpheus," the kid replied, and Exodus stiffened. According to Alaxis, this dark-skinned kid was the one with the Contract to Zanidar. He had almost forgotten that. Exodus laughed to himself silently at his brilliance of temporarily abandoning Alaxis. With the disguise, even Zanidar couldn't recognize him! Exodus was about to respond when Orpheus ignored him and turned to the other two. "Physical contact? Are you two..." he trailed off, thinking, then smiled. "Oh, sorry, I'll leave you two together, then. Xeus, you should probably stop eavesdropping, too. You're not a creep, are you?" And he marched off.
  18. Ah, yes, the day in which everyone gathers together to remember the tragic martyrdom of St. Valentine, though it isn't 100% clear which one. I, too, hold a feast in memorial of this great and terrible event. Unless we speak of the Roman holiday that began to merge with it, where virgins got in line to be whipped so they could be more fertile?
  19. Cruz coughed and stepped out of bed, shaking the nightmares out of his head. Hadn't he just closed his eyes? No, there was the morning breakfast. Another night of restlessness, he supposed. But today was the day of the trial, and he didn't have time to be tired. He walked over to the lone toilet bowl he was allowed in his cell and, with the limited light he had, looked at his reflection. Who knew how much damage a few days in prison could do to a man's appearance? His curly blonde hair was a mess, and his eyes were bloodshot. He could not present himself to be judged like this. With determination, he wet his hair and tried to calm its tempest with his fingers, to little success. And he couldn't exactly blink the red out of his eyes.
  20. Cruz woke up, vision blurry and eyes bleary. "Get up! Your case is scheduled for today," barked an officer. Cruz rolled out of bed and despite the sickness in his stomach, he forced himself to eat.
