  1. that's the way i like it and i'll never get bored
  2. Fresco skimmed through the book for the next few minutes. Despite all the promise of information, it didn't actually give him too much information, but the information it did give was valuable. His name was Fresco Ferraro, and he was some kind of military soldier from a world called Ricora, which the book seemed to assume he was still on. Apparently on some kind of periodic cycle, the inhabitants of Ricora would experience a form of amnesia. His past self was concerned because the extent of the amnesia was historically very limited, but it seemed to be growing stronger and stronger. There was a time when one would only forget the past year or so of their life, but the cycle was getting faster and faster and stronger and stronger.
  3. Fresco nodded and said, "I'm going to read a little bit more. I don't know why I stopped."
  4. You'll never shine if you don't glow!
  5. Fresco picks up the book. What a strange title. He opens the book to find that most of the book is blank, except for some pages near the front. Fresco! Hey, it's me! Well, actually, I am you. From the past. Anyways, you might be confused if you're reading this and have a lot of questions. Like, where am I? What is going on? Who are these people I am with? What happened to my memory? Why can't I remember anything before this? Why... Fresco skipped several paragraphs of example questions that he might have. Well, I know the answers to all of them! Well, maybe not all of them. The last few were a little confusing. Anyways, I can help you! This kind of thing has happened before, and you wrote this book to help you remember. I recommend you keep reading, sorry, you like to go on tangents a lot. Trust me, the following pages are much more concise. I hope. I haven't written them at this point yet but I will soon, just as soon as I finish talking about... what was I talking about? Oh, yes, this kind of thing has happened before. Fresco walked over to where the other people were. He still didn't know anyone's name.
  6. "You fought very well. How did you learn to fight like that?" Fresco asked. He glanced at the book he was holding and noticed some words scribbled on the cover. Fresco, Please Read This If You Have Lost Your Memory.
  7. Fresco managed to twist out of the way, but not without receiving a damaging strike to the head. "Lady..." he panted, "What... in oblivion are you doing with that rod?"
  8. "Ouch!" he cried, loosening his grip, and his book fell out of his pocket. Fresco didn't notice, and he immediately tried to undo the damage, attempting to tackle Ayia.
  9. Fresco jumped out of the way of the kick, then skipped in and threw an uppercut had Ayia's jaw--but it was a feint, and out of nowhere came a powerful left hook to her head.
  10. Fresco caught the staff and yanked it towards him, but that instantly let go of it.
  11. Fresco stood there and noticed he did have things in his pockets. He pulled out a small leather book.
  12. Fresco pats his pockets. He didn't have a knife. He frowned, leaped into the air, and launched a series of kicks at Ayia.
  13. Fresco is behind Ayia now, and he takes the opportunity to grab her from behind by the shoulders.
  14. Fresco dodges when attacked and counters quickly afterwards, being an overall bad axe fighting machine.
