    I go to a school where 7-8 grades get to take Latin, and she and I chose to continue.

    Lumen and Ember have been watching all of this. Fed up with the craziness, they decide to go try to get the skaa to rebel. Lumen calls a carriage, because Ember can't pewter drag.

    That is correct. It's a story about two boys who build outrageous stuff, their pet platypus who is a secret agent, a villain with absurd plans/inventions, and the boys' sister who always tries to bust them but is screwed over by fate i.e. the invention turns out to be just what is needed to vanish the boys' thing of the day. It's fun to watch, although not particularly useful.
