10/10 advice, except I probably won’t follow it because no matter how many times people tell me that I never listen for some reason. Which is bad. But I can’t stop doing it. 

Just clarifying, I’m sorry if it sounded like I just brushed off your advice. I didn’t and I didn’t mean for it to come across that way if it did. I’m just really bad at liking my writing. It was still good to hear, and I probably need someone to shout it into a megaphone that’s right next to my ear to make it sink in.

Am I overthinking this? I don’t even know at this point.

You sounded fine! Don’t worry about it. I understand - even when you know something is right, sometimes you just can’t follow it. And that’s okay. It happens. I hope one day you find someone with a megaphone and the advice works for you!
