  1. !!!! It was the squirrel, wasn't it?* (Yes. That's right, Condensation. I corrected your GRAMMAR!!!!) Are you in on the plan to assassinate me? That old sandal.
  2. Cast the third-level spell "Animate Dead!"
  3. So just pray that the Aussies on the Shard can smuggle themselves out of their continent via Private Military Jet to join our potluck?
  4. Wait! Don't let this die! I refuse to let a Studio C and JK Studios thread die while I'm literally watching JK Studios sketches!
  5. "Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, but I don't know what names to give them."
  6. Well, heck. Now I have to make the entire comprehensive list of FE3H characters as Cosmere/NonCosmere characters. Be back soon with a large google doc and signicantly less hair. Edit: Here it is! The 3H Character as Cosmere/NonCosmere doc!
  7. A question for the readers! I'm thinking of adding weapon stances for a bit of immersion and also character development, but I'm not sure what to call them. If they're standard Silverclad Enclave stances, then I might name them after the Arcane elements (fire, water, earth, air, gravity, and time), but I'm worried that things like "Firestance" and "Waterstance" are little cliche. Thoughts? Suggestions? Opinions? Questions? Concerns? I'm milking this?
  8. "And being ugly doesn't get you the people you like," Fadran added, "there was this one girl I liked waaaaay back when, but when I finally asked her out she said--and I quote--'Ew. Why would I date you?'" Fadran laughs. "Oh, those were the good old days."
  9. No firebender can defeat the Flame Emperor... even though Azula is awesome. Can we all agree that Adolin is Sylvain, though?
  10. That's a sterotype? ... Huh. Now that I think about it, yeah; main characters being useless is usually a sterotype. I was just worried that I was falling into the "main character being too OP" sterotype. I hope I hit the gray area?
  11. https://discord.gg/jmc7FT7 I don't know where @Kelsier'sGodComplex is, but it might be a good idea to move this to the Guilds and Groups subforum.
  12. Chapter XI! I finally finished it! Finally!
  13. Gets plastic. *Inserts asterisks*
  14. The cure is just to don't. The only people in the world who are going to fact-check your weather patterns are the people on Game Theory or a side character from a RomCom. Editors will tell you what to fix with your story, not your nitpicky realism biome placements. Critics are going to point out the mistakes of your story (because that's what they do), but they probably won't point out weird language patterns unless they're desperate. Now, I can't say all of this for sure, because I do the same thing myself. I compulsively study worldbuilding even in stories that aren't fantasy, so... yeah. I understand your frustration.
  15. If what had been ruined was more advanced than we, then there's something out there that can desolate societies even more advanced than us.
  16. "You can bring a steak if you take a salad with it."
  17. "Uh..." Fadran responds through the speakers. "No."
  18. I'm just going to... use all of these. Favorite part of writing? Probably the fact that nobody sees the disgusting, nasty goohole that is a rough draft. They only see the pristine and perfected end result... that or making my own love arcs that NO ONE CAN ARGUE WITH. Why do I write? Because I don't know what else to do. It's the only thing I'm good at. Least favorite part? You mean aside from the week-long blocks? The people who don't believe in me. "What do you write on, fandom.com?" "If that's your life choice, then you've made some pretty bad decisions." Half my motivation is SHOWING THOSE COWARDS. Plot or character? Uh... yes. Hard or soft magic? Also yes. My opinions on magic are very complicated and I'll probably go into them on my RightingWrite thread (speaking of which... when was the last time I posted there...?) Favorite genre? Fantasy! Fantasy! Fantasy! I also like sci-fi Fantasy! Does this mean you Worldbuild all the time, or you're not good at Worldbuilding?
  19. FriarFritz can stay, if you're asking me.
  20. Discovering alien life. I am terrified of discovering alien life. Why? Because the Great Filter, that's why! When I was a kid (way back in ye olden days, where castles were hip with the times and dinosaurs still walked the Earth), I was scared of infinity. Not sure why; I guess the concept just confused me, and I'm not a fan of being confused. I was also terrifascinated (terrified and fascinated) of Black Holes--I still am, actually, but more fascinated than terrified. I'm also afraid that I'll never get to meet another Sharder ever in my life.
