    I don't believe that Jasnah is changing the distinction between lighteyes and darkeyes. Radiants are probably doing that all on their own. As for joining Odium, the parshmen conquered their country, killed their previous monarch, and are made entirely out of ex-slaves. So far, we've seen that jasnah has changed succession laws, allowing women to inherit titles and is going to announce an end to slavery. We haven't seen the highprinces reaction to Jasnah's proclamation, so I would reserve judgement until then.

    Well, I loved this chapter. Totally not only because it was about Kaladin. I'm really excited to see where this book goes, and I cannot believe that there's only two weeks to go before release. I have a few thoughts about this chapter: 1. Kaladin really needs a psychiatrist. 2. I hope Lirin can come to understand what Kaladin is going through. Kaladin clearly needs more support. 3. I hope Teft isn't still failing to manage his Firemoss addiction. 4. I think the next chapter will be a Shallan chapter, and will probably introduce the idea for Shallan and Adolin to go be ambassadors to the Honorspren.

    Nameless commented on how he mostly saw Ghanderflaffles as normal humans, just from a country called "Ghanderflaffle", which resulted in them being called "Ghanderflaffles" much like you would call people from America "Americans".

    Nameless agreed that Ghanderflaffles had a definite shape, but also agreed that they were shapeshifters. They chose their shapes at a young age, and then only used shapeshifting in secret. That was why they always rose. They could easily assassinate everyone who opposed them.
