  1. @crème de la crèmling, do you think that the investiture based madness manifests in random ways?
  2. I'm pretty sure that the chief cause of the Herald's insanity is the conflict between their natural spiritual or cognitive aspects and the investiture that makes up the oathpact. We have seen that people's perception can affect investiture, and the heralds have been deified by people for millennia. Some of them, (Nale and Taln being the best examples) did not fight this change, while others (primarily Ash) fought against it semi-successfully, while others, (such as Jezrien) being mentally broken by the struggle. The fused show similar symptoms, with the Pursuer, one of the most famous of the fused, being unable to break his tradition, Raboniel thinking that she is naturally the best scholar, and many of the fused being completely insane. Notably, Leshwi seems to be the most sane of all the fused we have seen, and she also has no stories or mythology about her.
  3. While simultaneously quadrupling his cookie intake.
  4. But eventually, he realized that exercising wouldn't change the fact that he ate 57.7368 pounds of cookies per day.
  5. Who gained 357 pounds while presiding as head judge.
  6. Brandy Venture was the only person more friendly than No One.
  7. And that is the story of how Matrim Cauthon picked up a live thermonuclear warhead and carried it in his pocket for 57 years.
  8. Into two separate beings. One of them a fiery dragon, which attacked the Ghanderflaffle high council, and the other a tiny flying jellyfish, which floated away to report on its findings.
  9. The Ghanderflaffles looked at them suspiscously.
  10. Said the random spy sitting in on the Ghanderflaffle's secret meeting.
  11. The happy, depressed hippy who gets too disappointed and writes horrible rom-com comics and is confused at the unending future of the Radiant Sharders plus my bloodthirsty kittens is named Andrew.
  12. I think that Jasnah is aware of the difficulty she's facing. She has the advantaged of chaos from the desolation and return of the KR, which will help. I don't know if her modernization attempts will be successful, but I also don't know if she will survive KoW. I don't see Hoid's support as a problem. He might not be fully human, but that doesn't mean he has no understanding of human nature. He probably understands humanity better than almost any actual human.
  13. I meant the only magic system that he possessed that was tied to a different world. Yolish lightweaving obviously isn't going to stop you from worldhopping, although I did forget about the breaths. As for the seon bond, do we know for certain that he's bonded to it? We know that he has a seon box, but Shallan was able to use hers just fine without a bond to it. An unbonded seon could be a requirement for all we know.
  14. I like most fruit, but I don't like pears. Their texture is just awful.
  15. The investiture that Hoid brings from other worlds isn't the kind that makes you get stuck. Mistborn can travel offworld no problem, and that's about the only magic system that he has that I know of.
  16. It's Zahel.
  17. I just finished my first playthrough of Jedi: Fallen Order. I enjoyed the game, the combat was really nice, even though I was playing on the second easiest difficulty. Now I've started a second playthrough on jedi grandmaster mode.
