  1. Give me the dagger or I will consume your soul! The rabbit's fur rippled, and lines of black fur appeared briefly. Just casually handing out a bunch of Plotblades created by Cursed Treasure. What could go wrong?
  2. But it should be mine! It is tasty! The rabbit leapt onto Rose's arm and attempted to claw for the dagger. The rabbit ignored the dagger. It didn't smell right.
  3. Most of the Plotblades that had been sent seemed to have very little personality or distinguishing traits. The rabbit lunged for the dagger again. Give me the food! Its voice spoke into Rose's mind.
  4. The rabbit slowly stalked towards Rose, eyes fixed on the dagger.
  5. The rabbit growled at Rose, staring at the dagger hungrily.
  6. Malevolence looked at the Blade, intrigued. "Is that a Plotblade? I've been wanting one of those to study."
  7. To his surprise, Rebus (prime) finds that the scepter is already bonded to him. As soon as he vanished, the plaque that had been beneath the scepter rewrote itself. It now read: "Plotblade of Cursed Treasure. DO NOT TOUCH."
  8. Something deep within Rebus prime approved of this decision. The rabbit fell to the ground, holding a chunk of Rose's dagger between its teeth.
  9. Oddly, the plaque is now blank of any name.
  10. A tingle runs through his arm, but nothing adverse immediately happens. The bunny leapt upwards in a flash, grabbing the dagger between its teeth.
  11. There were no traps, merely that beatiful, alluring Plotblade.
  12. The rabbit looked very hungry. Rebus noticed a Plotblade in the form of a golden scepter. It was beautiful, and something told him that it was by far the most powerful of the bunch. The plaque under it said something, but it seemed a bit blurry.
  13. Little did Rebus know, a Treasure Plotblade had indeed made most of these Plotblades. Just not the Lost Treasure Plotblade. Malevolence's rabbit hopped over to Rose.
  14. "Can't I express my approval of your plan? Obviously it would be better for your long-term efficiency to be able to function with those experiences, but in this moment of crisis, you need to function. I've got a similar protocol for situations in which I become mentally compromised."
  15. “Just saying. It’s a wonderful plan.”
  16. “For the record,” Malevolence chimed in. “I think suppressing your bad memories was a great idea.”
  17. "I think it's best to let Cricket explain. Once his Author is available again." Malevolence's rabbit nodded. And we will not eat your pet Narrator.
  18. The one with the butterflies. "It could be a good plan." Malevolence said. "But the two of you might not like it. It is rather... risky." Perhaps unfortunately for Rebus, he had misunderstood Onyx's actions. The only Blades affected by it were the two Dread Plotblades.
  19. "Cricket and I were working on a plan to defeat Malan." Malevolence said carefully.
  20. The rabbit narrowed its eyes back. As long as you don't eat our reading person.
  21. "Fine. Unless they're Malan's assassins, of course." Malevolence's rabbit approached the other rabbit warily.
  22. "I'm not going to kill anyone." Malevolence said. "I really just wanted your help."
  23. Malevolence's rabbit eyed the other rabbit right back. "Hey, where'd that one come from?"
  24. "Hm?" Malevolence looked startled by Bat's words. "Oh, the rabbit? No clue. Just seemed to... come out of nowhere." Malevolence let them sit there. "What evidence do you have that he doesn't exist?" Subversion asked in an annoyed tone. "Also, I'm fine with helping test the robot Enuller." The rabbit by Malevolence, it shall be noted, stayed very far away from Tam.
