  1. The Bands of Mourning would probably act almost identically to aluminum. More reasonable amounts like what Wax or Wayne have would break quickly, similarly to what happened with Ishar’s Honorblade and Nightblood.
  2. I think that suitably invested metalminds would also resist semi-permanently.
  3. Nameless squinted up at TAAron, noticing the faint shimmer around him. “I think he’s in a time bubble. Slowing himself down, for some reason.” Tentatively, he wove Earth and threw a small piece of rock into the area around TAAron. @The Aspiring Archivist
  4. Nameless frowned. "I don't think it works like turning. Even if we can't heal TAAron now, I'm sure we'll be able to heal him once Kaos is defeated."
  5. Nameless nodded. "He's been corrupted by Kaos. It's not his fault."
  6. Nameless leapt backwards through a gateway, coming out next to Rue and creating a dome of air to protect them for a moment. "TAAron's a Mistborn. He can push and pull on metal, has enhanced senses, strength, and dexterity along with the abilities to manipulate emotions, create bubbles of fast or slow time, or leech powers with a touch. Besides that, he can enhance his speed of though with Feruchemy." @Edema Ruh
  7. Nameless stumbled backwards, shoving TAAron away with a weave of air. He glanced back towards the still-open gateway. Could really use some backup right now. @Edema Ruh
  8. Nameless reacted quickly, forming a shield of fire to ward off TAAron's blows. "I'm here to help you, TAAron. I didn't want you to get killed fighting in this battle."
  9. The brave adventurer slams his hammer down onto the red-hot bar, then curses softly under his breath, examining the new bend in the partly-forged metal. All this blacksmithing stuff was a lot harder than he'd thought it would be. And he didn't have any customers. He shakes his head, picking the bar up with tongs and placing it back in the forge to be melted down, then sits down to rest for a bit. Maybe he should go ask that puffball thing if it needed a weapon? No, he was sure that the customers would come eventually. Surely someone would need a new weapon for use in this new world.
  10. Nameless wove a wall of air, deflecting the coins so that they shot past him in a spray. "I know. That doesn't make me want to fight you though."
  11. Nameless jerked a hand upwards and a wall of earth erupted between him and TAAron, blocking the attack. "TAAron, I don't want to fight you."
  12. Nameless' gateway split the air about a hundred feet in front of TAAron and he stepped through, face grim.
  13. Eastern battlefield Lark sighed, watching the excitement going on over to the south. The battle had yet to spread to his sector, although he had no doubt it would come to him in time. He settled back to wait, no weapons apparent other than a faint glow of Kaos surrounding him. South of the Battlefield Nameless examined the battlefield from above, several gateways slicing the air in front of him. Finding what he wanted, he waved a hand and closed them. "TAAron's on the western front. I'm going to go there and keep him from getting killed. Rue, you can come if you want." With that, Nameless opened another gateway and ran through it, leaving it open behind him. @Edema Ruh @The Aspiring Archivist
  14. The brave adventurer watches Fluffy go, then turns back to his work at the forge.
  15. I think people are just showing up in the world, no need to be invited.
  16. The brave adventurer takes a break from hammering a molten piece of metal to greet the newcomer. “Not much of anything, yet. No one’s made anything of it. Well, except for me, but one blacksmith doesn’t define an entire world.” The current plot is that a world insulated from Narration has been made and the group that made it is inviting people in to populate it and shape it using the magic system known as “Shaping”, which seems to be a very watered-down form of Narration that allows one, with the proper tools, to create materials and objects with, but not living things. @xinoehp512, did I get that all right?
  17. @The Bookwyrm
  18. Oh, yeah. I’ve played on servers with that before.
  19. The brave adventurer stands in his newly constructed blacksmith’s shop, waiting for the new world’s inhabitants to arrive.
  20. Do we know how much stone it would have to be? Investiture interference isn’t going to matter much, since they aren’t trying to affect the stone itself.
  21. Anchors can be pushed through stone, so as long as the Mistborn stays high in the air pushing off a couple different anchors they should be fine.
  22. If you ask me, there's too many unknowns surrounding Stoneward powers. We don't know if they can harden their own skin, what the distance at which they can use their powers is, how fast they use Stormlight, or how leeching affects their powers. That said, even if we give Stonewards the benefit of the doubt it won't be an instant loss for a prepared Mistborn. Stonewards are good on the ground, but can't fly or even hover. That gives Mistborn a solid mobility advantage. 3rd-4th ideal would probably not lose, but they'd have a hard time outright winning.
  23. “Well then. I suppose I could use this.” The brave adventurer closes his eyes in concentration, beginning to form a forge and other blacksmithing materials.
