  1. Moni hit a button on the elevator. "Don't worry. Your brain won't explode if you don't try to process what your eyes are seeing."
  2. Earth Nameless walked over to Calano and Thaidakar. "Thaidakar, I will not use Callandor in this battle. It would be far too dangerous." He hesitated. "Also, severing doesn't work the way you described. You can shield a Channeler by putting a weave between them and the Source, but severing requires cutting their connection to it. You don't leave a weave in the way. Also..." He shrugged apologetically. "you generally need to be much more powerful than the person you're severing. You have to at least be able to subdue them." @CalanoCorvus
  3. "Uh, no. Trying to form an accurate mental image of a Ghanderflaffle is pretty much impossible. Too much contradiction."
  4. Unfortunately, One day reacted to this by selling company secrets to the highest bidder.
  5. Unfortunately, One Day then made the terrible decision of learning to do her job properly.
  6. Fortunately, One turned out to be a natural. Which was something that also happened a lot of the time.
  7. Why did I think taking three finals on the same day was a good idea?

yikes. I had an AP test today and the past two days we've had end of year testing, but... yours is a lot worse.

Well, they’re done now and I didn’t do too badly, so I guess it turned out all right.

  8. Earth Nameless shook his head. "Only if we have to. Working separately will probably be more effective anyways."
  9. Earth Nameless frowned. "Do be careful though. Killing me could take you out of the fight as well."
  10. Earth Nameless frowned, feeling a little hurt. "I'm not sure. You'd likely be corrupted through it eventually, but not immediately. All the more reason to kill me quickly."
  11. I think the most reasonable assumption is that Venli just drained all of her voidlight spheres and that Brandon just didn't specify that it was only Voidlight spheres that were drained. She would've noticed otherwise, and probably wondered why stormlight had worked all of a sudden.
  12. Nameless shook his head. "Not at all. I just wanted to tell you that if I get corrupted, don't bother trying to keep me alive and unhurt. Do whatever you have to to stop me before I hurt anyone."
  13. In a 1v1, Windrunner vs. Skybreaker is close enough to vary between individuals, situations, and luck, although I'd give a slight edge to the Windrunner assuming everything else is equal. In general I'd say that Windrunners are more skilled in combat than Skybreakers, as members of their order are noted to be the most like traditional soldiers, while Skybreakers are more like MP's. Although we haven't seen division utilized by a Skybreaker, it is pretty safe to say that it will be blocked by Plate. If it isn't, then Skybreaker has a serious edge. Otherwise, Windrunner wins 1v1 6-7/10.
  14. I think that Odium would serve Morgoth. Not that Morgoth could beat Odium in a fight, but I think Morgoth would be able to manipulate and control Odium in the end.
  15. "Well, you'll probably not want to kill the people who've been corrupted, right? So that they can be healed."
  16. Nameless hesitated briefly, glancing at Insa. “So, if Calano wins, it looks like we’ll be able to heal everyone who’s been corrupted.”
  17. Earth Nameless walked up to Rue. "Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" @Edema Ruh
  18. Lark shrugged. "Sure. Just don't hesitate. What we're doing is for the best."
  19. Earth Nameless waved his staff vaguely. "I don't see how minions would make a difference. They're either made of Kaos, powered by Kaos, or controlled by Kaos. And it's not like any of us can do anything. Calano's the only one who can permanently do anything against the forces of Kaos." The (Now Dark) mysterious forest Lark frowned at Bookwyrm and TAAron. "Sounds like some part of you still struggles against Kaos. It can happen, when people are forcibly turned." @The Aspiring Archivist @The Bookwyrm
  20. "Convert them if we can, kill them if we can't."
  21. Lark looked around at the dark forest. "I'm not sure where this is. As for who is left... Thaidakar, Nameless, Rue, X, Telrao, Insa, Platypus. Perhaps a few others that I'm forgetting."
  22. "The bulk of the enemy is gathered on earth. Go there, wait for an opportunity, and strike. They most likely won't want to hurt you, so you'll have an advantage."
  23. Lark nodded, handing it to him along with a glass vial filled with what appeared to be liquid Kaos. "If you get cornered, break this. It will bring reinforcements."
  24. "Hm. Well, let me give you something else to help on your mission." a tendril of dark energy shot from Lark into TAAron, sending a shock through TAAron's soul. The tendril withdrew a moment later. "There. I've modified your connection to Kaos; it should fuel your allomantic abilities.
  25. Lark frowned, examining TAAron. "No. Is there something wrong with your connection to Kaos?"
