  1. The controls were exceedingly simple: an on switch, a dial to control which page one travelled to, and a button to initiate time travel.
  2. Of course the next step for Abalodor to was to use the time machine.
  3. But there weren't enough plot-holes to satiate its hunger. The page needed to time travel to was page 1.
  4. The time machine had a very obvious 'on' switch, along with a dial that controlled which page one wished to travel to, but Abalodor had probably just not bothered to look at it.
  5. It was good that Abalodor was going towards the time machine. With any luck, he'd be able to use the time machine and get the Mordite blade from Nowhere without anyone else interfering.
  6. The Mordite blade could be used to kill Feanor, which would allow him to be permanently exploded.
  7. Somepeople wanted Feanor to be very blown up indeed, but it would sadly not be enough to merely explode him. Fortunately, Abalodor was heading right for the last known location of a Mordite blade that would do the job just fine.
  8. Abalodor's anger was only to be expected. but really he should be grateful that he was receiving any advice at all.
  9. Feanor might have moved, so it might be the bad direction again.
  10. Feanor was probably somewhere over that way.
  11. There can be more than one antagonist at a time. Abalodor could indeed attempt to put dynamite on Feanor's feet.
  12. He could seek out Feanor and punch him in the face.
  13. In that case there was a lot of things he could do, only a few of which would have any significant effect on current events.
  14. He could always join the dark side and start a villain arc. Everyone seemed to love those.
  15. There was absolutely nothing Abalodor could do to stop the inevitable onward trajectory of the plot. But he didn't know that.
  16. The concoction was made of some strange ingredients.
  17. Fortunately, Suddenly, Pineapples was newly unempowered, and had thirty elite guards to make sure no one sneakily re-empowered it again.
  18. Subversion was slightly miffed at the intrusion, but she did her best to ignore it. Maybe when she got back she could make some fun characters, like Nameless had used to do from time to time.
  19. He's Thaidakar's character. Subversion breathed in a lungful of crisp mountain air, smiling contentedly as she hiked through the beautiful forest. It really had been a good time to take a vacation.
  20. No one currently in the thread has any way of knowing about it.
  21. Desolation can also absorb narration without the sword, though less effectively. And someone contacted Desolation secretly, offering him a way to fulfill his desire to destroy all narrators in exchange for obedience. No one knows about that though.
  22. "Fine." Unintelligible shut the door, leaving Desolation outside, then exhaled. "I think he's leaving."
