  1. Won't spoil things for you
  2. It was Raeth's gem I was talking about, and it's location really is iffy. Probably doesn't matter all that much though. Are the Aethers situated on the bearers' hands for practical reasons like: easy to mentalize attacks from arms, easy to access, the body part most likely to come in contact with the Aether source as, well, we use our hands to grab things, or are there more Realmatic reasons for this? Hmm... Probably the former..
  3. Waiting for the next book, the greatest form of torture known to reader-kind Bands of Mourning handles what you asked... somewhat. There's also other stuff which are in similar veins as the stuff you complained about, these would probably make you angrier at Sazed
  4. Not the only one. I'm a little disappointed in Sazed as well. But I think we should wait till the next era books come out, after all these books were shorter, relatively light Westerns that were (was) supposed to tide us over
  5. That's interesting, a Decay based Investiture system? Or Decay Aethers? Splinters using another Shard's Investiture? Were the two brothers Corrupted?
  6. There's a WoB that states it would take a very long time It might be a plot point in sci-fi Mistborn, by that time they wouldn't be restricted to just Scadrial. Need for resources that fuels their Investiture could be a very big motivating factor for expansion/colonization But other WoBs contradict this and state that metal returns back to the system I can't find the more direct WoBs, but there was one, at least
  7. rhinestone
  8. I vote yes PS: @Butt Ad Venture, @The traveller is a 'she'
  9. Nothing wrong with lurking! But we're happy to have you as an active poster!
  10. @SirWolfe, you got it!
  11. So, Truthwatchers are your favourite Order?
  12. That's a really good guess! Except for Clue 3, of course
  13. Putting all the clues on the same page 1) This place is one among many of its kind 2) We haven't seen this place ourselves yet 3) This place is relatively safe 4) This place is relatively small 5) This place has been used as a training ground
  14. Also nope! Hint: the clues with the word 'relatively' are key
  15. I'll just go ahead and confirm that no, it isn't one of the Reshi Isles,
  16. No, not that one
  17. I have digital copies of some but mostly yeah, I indeed do just type it out
  18. I do like the idea of there being a Cultivation based Investiture system in place on Ashyn, since the magic system of Silence Divine can be argued to be very attuned towards her Intent. Cultivation's magic can't just be fabrials. The Dawnshards belonging to Cultivation is not one I've ever seen before. Loved the Vorinism connect btw,
  19. The relationship between Worldbringers and Worldsingers seems to be in their name & their purpose of preserving knowledge, as well as some link to a system of Investiture. Perhaps Hoid had a hand their founding, direct or indirect, but I don't think the relationship goes deeper than that. Um... you seem to have linked the wrong WoB for Feruchemy as a gift, btw Edit: Ooh, already resolved by Weltall
  20. Someone was very close to the correct answer on this very page! Keep trying!
  21. That's how the Investiture system seems to work. The ability to use the magic is in the Spiritweb. Going by that WoB plus a few indications from the book shows that AonDor, at least was there before Devotion & Dominion's Splintering and their Investiture getting shoved into the Cognitive Realm. It probably would effect their power to some degree, but the ability to tap into the AonDor wouldn't go away even if the Dor itself was pushed back into the Spiritual Realm
  22. 5) This place has been used as a training ground
