    It seemed more like a Shade than a normal CS going by its description, besides weaponizing Shades makes sense but what would chucking a normal Cognitive Shadow at another person even achieve? (Now I want to see this happen) As for the one Hoid was using as a boat, we have no idea where he's from except his clothing suggested that he wasn't from Scadrial

    Actually maybe I'm being too stiff about this. Who'd have read Arcanum Unbounded without reading the main series? Unspoiler them! They're integral to the theory anyway!

    I think that's more Rayse, the Vessel than Odium. It is really a shame that Ambition's dead though. Of all the Splintered Shards, this is the one whose Intent sounds the most intriguing and whose background I'd have loved to have dug in to.

    Well, not literally anyone Brandon has said we'd seen the Ones Above before and they're from a Shardworld we'd seen That being said, Mistborn: Secret History released the same year as Arcanum Unbounded but near the beginning of the year rather than the end. We met Khriss there, as well as Nazh... Can Threnody, or even better Taldain, still be considered valid candidates after all? People have argued that they can. But Sixth of the Dusk was published before being released as part of the Arcanum Unbounded collection. The WoBs too come from before the Arcanum Unbounded was published

    Is it just me who thought that Preservation talked about Allomancy as if he did design it? Or is it being seen as him fiddling with it, shifting metals around, etc?     To me it seemed like Order and Chaos were more fundamental rules than anything. Agreed on the connection between Adonalsium & the Former though PS: Why did you remove your response? You could just edit to add. If it was for quoting someone, you could always just @ them instead

    As far as any in-universe Cosmere-logists know, Adonalsium was the first. He created the Cosmere. The fun speculations beyond that are outside the scope of the work We don't know whether the collective power had a Vessel or not. The Shards could very well be literal pieces of this entity Whether someone could Ascend to hold all 16 Shards is still debated

    I... have Returned. Yes, the capitalized version. I'm honestly a bit surprised to find that I've retained all of my memories. Though I'm even more surprised to still be alive. And yet even more surprised than that to have died in the first place. It was supposed to be a peaceful break from the chaotic parts of the Cosmere. I was just a waffle cook on Scadrial, a beautiful place now, without ash choking the life out of everything. I just took a shortcut through a dark alley... I wanted to be discreet as I entered the Cognitive Realm. I had made some arrangements with the Nalthian Worldhopping authorities, I do like to use spicy Nalthian ingredients from time to time. They told me that they found me there and had brought me back with them, suspecting foul play. And then boom! I was alive again. I don't remember meeting Endowment though... I write to all of you to let you all know of my death and my revival, and to ask you each this question: did one of you try to kill me or have me killed? Also, I've... found some Hemalurgic spikes to give myself a nice Allomantic and Feruchemical synergy. I'm willing to do similar business if anyone here is interested in procuring my services?
