    The Nightwatcher beckons you forward imperiously. You gulp as you get closer to her, her many hands encircle you, then reach into your pocket to pull your phone out. She opens your social media and takes a selfie with you (you don't look good in that photo btw, very pale and wide eyed) with the caption "your friend made a very stupid mistake coming here". One of your friends who was online at the time video calls you "what the hell is that thing?" she shrieks over the phone. "I just wanted to see you guys again" you cry. "Well, your wish has been granted", The Nightwatcher smiles. "Now for your Bane, I take away your eyesight, you can only see things from your phone's camera" I wish for a magical food delivery service

    Brandon has talked about a hypothetical match-up between Kelsier and Kaladin Current level Kaladin, without Shardplate but still with Shardblade and Stormlight healing and equal if not greater air mobility is going to be a challenge for Kelsier without Atium (at least give him 'poor man's Atium')

    Well, the rain lessens sometimes but it's rare for it to actually stop or for the cloud cover to go away & the sky to stop rumbling I like some of those Christian rock groups, you know the ones whose songs were used in anime videos, like Breaking Benjamin, Red, Skillet, Three Days Grace. The genre's called alternative rock. I also like bands like Kodaline and artists like Woodkid with calmer but more... anxious? music, there's also Sigur Ros etc. I do like some of the popular pop artists too @The Awakened Salad, what was the Command used in your Awakening?

    Aw, you're missing out! Mine would be autumn, summer's too hot here, winter too cold, the less said about monsoon the better (it's one continuous thunderstorm stretching for months, eugh), spring's nice too Do you have a favourite band?

    spren made by the Singers. I think you are referring to the Voidspren? Those are different, probably Corrupted by Sja-Anat or Odium himself Brandon hasn't exactly copied the Platonic Realm of Ideas, kinda divided it into two: one is perfection, one is perception. It isn't cut and dry but these two WoBs should help: Oh right Kelsier, him lacking a Physical aspect was such a big part of Secret History with the aforementioned trouble traveling off-world, not being able to do Allomancy, even part of the trouble with him holding Preservation. I'll take this comparison between a Cognitive Shadow and Spren to tentatively go with spren defaulting to not having a Physical aspect

    They are Cognitive entities, yes do spren have a Physical aspect? Would their appearance into the Physical whether through their respective natural phenomena, emotion or due to the Nahel Bond and Surgebinding count as their Physical aspect or would that just be them breaching into the Physical? Spren are supposed to be manifestations of Platonic Ideas, which are in the Spiritual reflecting Physical stuff

    Worth it to follow that train of thought for the sake of exhaustiveness though I didn't think there was much chance they'd both turn out to be the same substance *points at title* so we get to the next question: the red dotted appearance, the only thing we have for the colour red in the Cosmere is that it sometimes indicates Corrupted Investiture but why would there be Corrupted Investiture on Sel when both Devotion & Dominion are dead and Odium did not leave any of his power behind

    Could it have been the crystallized version then? Though that would still be stretching it, Wax is a chemist, he should be able to tell whether something is a crystallized mineral or a metallic ore at a glance Wait, what is this thing about the Chimeras? Or are you putting that in contrast with the Kandra?

    Nope! 1. This character is noted for a distinct physical feature 2. This character went on an off-screen mission 3. This character has survived an attack by luck rather than skill 4. This is not a main character, but all of the three clues above do apply to a main character who's also this character's friend

    I use whitish to describe which way a certain shade of colour leans, in this case light, though greyish probably is a better way of describing it rather than sticking to my own mental post-its & placards and besides, arguing over exact shade is a bit like arguing over pronunciation, the comparison is with another substance, soapstone. Edit: Dunno why I said it like that, to put it simply, I meant scale white-grey-black, it looks whitish grey, light gray, grey that is closer to dirty white but not silvery, nor dark... oh you get the point Yeah, I did note the differences in texture, though I should also note that 'metallic' perhaps isn't the best word to use here as there are soft metals like potassium. The substance's appearance doesn't seem to match any real-world analogues, nor do clays turn to crystal, as I've noted above in the topic (though again I'm not a geologist), so I asked the next question: whether it is a Cosmere only substance and Godmetals were what came to mind, which only have to be solid manifestation of a Shard's Investiture, not necessarily a metal, unless I'm mistaken. Yes it is not necessary for Forgery, but it is useful. We've only seen it used one way in a novella. Also knowing the author... Plus, there's also this:

    It's not a one-to-one correspondence. Their soul isn't manifesting as gaseous or their minds as liquid Investiture: that's just the Shard's power. Both the Cognitive and the Spiritual Realm are composed of Investiture.

    Do you mean the rank/ member title (That's My Lord to you)? Click Account from the Menu icon, then select Account Settings, on the screen, below username and password would be a grey box with several options among which is Edit Profile. The first field in Basic Info is the Member Title and that's that!
