  1. Hello, welcome aboard What Order of Knights Radiant are you, btw?
  2. I've just started on it, looks promising though The rest of them on that short list, I've read
  3. Post book withdrawal, eh? We're all quite familiar with that sensation If you liked the Reckoners, go for Worm by John McCrae or Vicious by Schwab You should also check out His Dark Materials, if you haven't already Dresden reminded me of Alex Vera series
  4. Welcome to the Shard! Be gentle on Elantris, it was written earlier in Brandon's career!
  5. They are rather similar, though Sand Mastery is far more costly as it dries out your body
  6. I'd love to see even more of theological crises in the Cosmere. It's really well suited to exploring that, and Brandon's good at it. I think we've seen echoes of responses to the Shattering, perhaps with the belief in a God Beyond, and most noticeably, the One.
  7. Huh, I was just wondering about other possible candidates for who it could've been Good work!
  8. The fortress of the Ire was presumably in the space between Scadrial and Threnody. Apparently "the powers of Threnody" wanted to "join the stage". We see that Kelsier, a Cognitive Shadow was able to make his way that far, presumably the Threnodite Shades could too, unless the Ire were referring to others. We don't know much about Threnody, and that world has had some big changes.
  9. Yeah, she has a gun. Taldain Darkside was developed enough to develop gunpowder way ahead, we see this in White Sand. We don't know precisely why, maybe she knew of Hoid by reputation somehow and decided to book it. Maybe she wanted the Lerasium for herself.
  10. that's all we know
  11. Fuzz was saying that Hoid rejected becoming one of them (the 16 Shards of Adonalsium), and is now interfering in their affairs.
  12. Kelsier's skillset and personality make him a natural wildcard. Hoid is basically saying Kelsier would likely poke his nose into situations and possibly cause unpredictable & consequential changes.
  13. Can you give me the whole paragraph?
  14. He seems a bit unhinged, which we know can allow Shards an in. He might also be pierced by metal, with the unhinging caused by it, like Zane was, this would repel the Mists.
  15. As of OB: Dalinar Jasnah Kaladin Shallan Szeth Malata Teft, Lopen, other Bridge 4 Squires Renarin / Lift The Stump (I'm not counting Venli because she only swore the First Ideal at the end of OB)
  16. I'm not surprised. It'd be really weird if they did. But so many exploits *sigh*
  17. All hail the Duralumin Ferring Bondsmith
  18. Sort of? She thinks the God Beyond is a thing of the past, of the Homeland. I'd peg her as a sceptic agnostic.
  19. Happy Birthday!

  20. There is a way to safely break a Nahel Bond... I would prefer that what is happening with Adolin & Maya be an indication for there being a way to bring back Deadeye spren, but Bonding them after so much trauma seems unlikely to me. Maybe in the back half. It could be used to convince the spren that are still angry or mistrustful to start Bonding again. Besides, I would prefer not every character become a Radiant
