  1. Reminds me of my "The storms are going to die" theory, man that was forever ago, You might be right Navani was talking an awful lot about pressure differentials in the book, so it could be foreshadowing.
  2. I can't argue with that logic, it's possible but it being the same day is intresting
  3. I thought that it was Wax
  4. And this is why I have my fingers crossed for a mind change at the time so that eternity is no longer weird.
  5. No but Sibling says that it lost it's Rhythm of LIght that day, so something happened.
  6. Intresting story, I'm a theist(why is the difference between the two oposets one space, change spelling ah!) and believe in an afterlife, but I have at one point in my life hopped that there was a way to cease exsitance alltogether because I was scared of having infinate time, infinate knowledge but nothing to do and was looking for an out. THough this was a time in my life were I was battling my most sever case of depression, so that's probably why.
  7. True there was a side of the sibling that didn't want a human, but at the same time, Navani was judged as unworthy, and while Rlain was accepted the Sibling didn't even consider a singer, or a bond, Rlain worked for it. Rlain stood to Unite Singers and Humans, Dalinar stood to Unite humanity, who does Navani stand to unite? What bonds is she needed to forge? She was judged as unworthy of the immence and honestly terrifing power of a Bondsmith. I never said the Sibling did want to break the bond, I'm surprised it didn't.
  8. Full lashing is pure Adhesion. I think we underestimate riverspren, it's mentioned several times that they are "larger" than other spren, and can talk, maybe skybreakers but I don't know.
  9. They seem to make the spren, so maybe they do that? Maybe they draw them?
  10. There is no one way I get ideas, sometime I take an exsisting idea/philosophy and twist it to my needs, other time I slowwly develop one over time, and others I step outside and an idea hits me.
  11. Fair point. Lift says that even the wind doesn't seem to touch her, I take that to mena that any physical attack will slide right off. Progression healed Renarin in ways that normal stormligh true but they can also sink their legs into the ground if they land, which is rather helpful when they have a stone roof over theiir head protecting them from coins.
  12. By Order Windrunners: Mistborn have no advantage here, and they're only hope is to somehow pull off a Chromium strike Skybeakers: Same as Windrunners but with the added bonus of if a Mistborn tries a Chromium touch, you can use division to burn their hand off. Dustbringers: can use abrasion to make themselves impervious to attack, while hitting back just as hard as before, and having division. Edgedanncers: can heal from anything, grow defences, and become impervious. Truthwatchers: use illusions and survive anything Lightweavers, soulcasting Elsecallers: Can soulcast from cognitive realm, no win for Mistborn at all. Willshapers: Craft defences from stone Stonewards: increased strength from Tension, building defences Bondsmith: Infinate Stormlight, No win.
  13. I'm more inclined to the water answer, my reasoning being, that if water is required, then men and women on the far lowwer side, men would have a Higher chance of displaying talent. Maybe. Or it could be a genetic/Sgenetic feture where it attaches itself more reaily to the y chromasome, or whatever the SDNA equivelent is.
  14. I saw, but Brandon only ever says dangerous Overlord was the one who asked if it was suicide and Brandon said it was possible to break safly. I suppose it's possible you interpretation was correct, but perhapse mine is, who knows. And find a bondsmith, if my memory hasn't failed me.
  15. I would argue that Sibling has been around long enough to know what's good for them, and if they rejected Navani they had good reason. Don't like as in it makes you uncomfortable or as in you disagree?
  16. Venten chuckled softly at the display before laughfing harder, with a way to Shadesmar things could be funny again it seemed. "I'm in."
  17. No mention of both parties having to be willing. The way I see it, The Stormfather was reluctant, but did as his Father asked, The Sibling outright said, "I won't have you you are not worthy of this power, but on pain of death was forced to comply.
  18. I remember The Siblings beef with fabrials, but I doubt it's the only much less the primary reason, They at one point reject humans as bondmates all together, and not due to fabrials. That same WoB says it can be done safely. On the Stormfather, the Stormfather still acspets, and not because their afraid of death, He says immediatly afterwasrd that they'll die anyways. The Sibling only accepts Navani becuse they where about to be murdered.
  19. Long WoB I disagree with the fit over time, especially in Bondsmiths where the power is so immence, and with The Sibling basically being threatened into it leaves a particularly uneasy feeling with me. I litterally like thirty minuets ago let my friend borrow RoW, but to the best of my knowledge that was not the case, All the Sibling said was "You are not worthy."
  20. We have metals that the Mistbon should in no way be able to get compared to something that more likly than not will very soon find itself in Radiant hands.
  21. Navani bonds the Sibling despite the Sibling saying that she isn't worthy, and from what I've seen the community likes this, the book portrays it as, "I'm tired of people thinking I'm not good enough" but Worthiness is not something the reciver get's to decide. We saw the power Ishar had that is the consequences of the unworthy having power they shouldn't. Honestly kind of upset The sibling didn't break off the bond immedietly afterwards and get Rlain, we know that that is something they can do. Anyway what do you think?
  22. If mistborn can have Raysium, Radiants can have Honorblades. Infinate Stormlight from Ishar!
  23. Are you sure you want to go down that rabbit hole? Because it won't go well for the Mistborn.
  24. well, not yet.
  25. In a fight the only way to do so would be to touch the blade, now with Atium that might be possible, perhapse but that is risky..... perhapse.
