Why would you even think of that? And you! I don't know what to say actually. -
Thank you.

F-steel sure, Perception also plays a part, I doubt either of them could push more than once on an infinate plain of steel You need to do that anyway. Speed bubbles might work, though with the air being invested would you even be able to set one up? Becasue their fighting a Fullborn? Nah, I'm just running through my list of ideas on how to kill these things, trying to find something that doesn't require a small army of magic users. That's fair.

Theory with the Recreance and Honor's Splintering
Frustration replied to panheadbolt's topic in Stormlight Archive
No we really aren't, anything we use is released back into the enviroment. I don't think we have a WoB on this, or is Arcanum just being weird again?- 14 replies

That may work, I'll keep a lookout in LM for that. Because Chromium is expensive, and Fortune can be really good when you break through and peer directly into the SR. Yeah that might work.

You are going off Rashek who made himself stronger with Allomancy than a reasonable sized bead of Lerasium would give you, I don't think that should be taken as any Fullborns base strength. Which would require you to constantly be tapping it. Rods have two distinct preceivable ends, sphere's are hard to preceive that way.

Theory with the Recreance and Honor's Splintering

Stormlight has a cycle, that would be like us depleting the stores of water. And what spren were they depleting?- 14 replies

No, but it's fast enough they won't get out. It's still one object, with no misplaced parts or obvious places of distiction, Unless he knows how to use Steelsight I doubt he's going to be able to push on it more than once at a time. Additionally we have no indication that Soulcasting from the CR is more Stormlight intensive than from the Physical Assuming he knows that it's happening and doesn't panic. F-chromium is fortune, not Cognitive realm sight, F-Zinc is mental speed, A-Electrum is seeing your future not the CR, and Elend was also about to cross into the CR anyway so I doubt we can use him as a base example. Unless he's a diving enthusist why would he have a massive store of Cadmium? And he only has so much gold, which the vast majority of would be used to keep himself from being crushed in the initial casting.

You are asking me to prove a negative. I say you can't prove that the powers are special to Kaladin and you counter by saying I can't prove they aren't. None of them have given any data, Teft, who aside from Kaladin has had the most screentime hasn't used a single ability during his PoV's. None of the other Windrunners have been given even that much. I litterally took your argument and applyied it to a different circumstance. Those windruuners do not provide any data, they get maybe a sentence mentioning their existance but no more.

The density of Osmium only matters in that it will constrict on hin in all directions, effectivly crushing him. Even if he somehow survives, which would be a miricle unto itself pushing on it won't do anything ueful as it's one object with him inside of it, any push he does will shove him too. Additionally he has been put on a timer as he can't breathe.

No I'm saying that while he is special how special is up for debate. No, but you do that if you can't be 95% certain at a bare minimum. First of all we have a sample size of exactly one, that is not enough to have any level of certainty. Second off why hasn't Dalinar been messing with Connections since he bonded the Stormfather? Why didn't he simply strip Rayse of Odium when he appeared during the end of OB, why hasn't he cut Fused off from Odium forcing them to decay into ordinary souls? He has the power and it would make a lot of the fighting unneccesary.

Elsecallers can shift to the Cognitive realm and soulcast from there, they don't even need to soulcast the Fullborn, just soucast a decent amount of air around them to Osmium, and let them get crushed as super dense metal starts constricting on them from all sides. Maybe?

In science you always assume the null until proven otherwise. There is no evidence Kaladin can't make a perpendicularity either, but I never say he could. No, I'm saying those aren't things that make Kaladin special, Having the Stormfather consider to stop for him is, being called Child of Tanavast is, sensing Highstorms, we have no indication that Kaladin is the only one to do it. And parting the Highstorm, other than Kaladin what third oath Windrunner has been caught in a highstorm and needed to save others? How often do we see Windrunners other than Kaladin caught in a Highstorm with others they need to protect? If it didn't confirm that they can't do it, we do not have the evidence neccesary to reject the null.

That's like saying who would win, a guy who can warp reality by thinking or the guy who stabs him in his sleep. Without some even more broken ability like Plot armor, and being the Protagonist, The Fullborn wins against most 4th ideal radiants 9 times out of ten. The only real exceptions being Bondsmiths and Elsecallers.

Where is your evidence Kaladin is alone in this, you can't put the burden of proof on me. While Kaladin is special this rarely comes in the form of powers Kaladin and the Sibling can do this, and they happen to both have adhesion Kaladin sensing Highstorms, like his spren can, while also being the only Windrunner with more than a handful of PoV's I like Kal being special trust me I do, I have a whole theory dedicated to it, but we lack sufficent evidence to say that this is one of those instances where Kal is doing something special, or if this is just a rarely used because it's not that useful application of a surge.
-
From the Ars Acanum found at the back of any copy of the Stormlight Archive. "Adhesion - The Surge of Pressure and Vacuum" Raise the pressure enough and winds won't affect the area. Also notice how Urithiru reacts to an apporaching Highstorm, it raises the pressure, so clearly this is not just a Kaladin thing. Oh yeah I do remember that. It was also during the Weeping beforehand, so I doubt that it would have the same effect any other time of year. I think that's a bit of an overstatement, and didn't some of them get crushed by boulders in RoW? And Eshonai certainly died, and they bring sheilds out into the Highstorm as protection, so they aren't "Safe"

A dissapointing take on the "Son of Tarnavast"
Frustration replied to DiePie's topic in Stormlight Archive
No, not really. MB era 1 spoiers Rayse was vulnerable becuase he was fighting Odium, Rayse died but Odium persisted. Tanavast and Honor are not the same -

No they are not, Tanavast is a person Honor is a shard. No, no one other than Kal is called Child of Tanavast by the Stormfather. -

There is significance to Kaladin alone being called son of Tanavast, if it was simple alignment to Honor others would be called that but they aren't
