    Are you refering to the one with the Casmfiend? Or the regular vision? And on Uncaring the Stormfather tried to kill Dalinar in Words of Radiance.

    The Nightwatcher doesn't look or talk like that, and The Sibling was non-functional. Gavilar told the spren he sees to end the vision and they do so, Gavilar was also talking with them, and no other voice is heard.

    How would a being who isn't the Stormfather be able to create the visions and act as a Bondsmith spren?

    Both are only able to do it when the Stormfather is upholding them. And even Odium doesn't do it often. And in many ways Gavilar is his subordinate. And he withholds a lot of information because he thinks it's dangerous. He did also try to kill Dalinar in WoR. The Oathpact was made by a Bondsmith before Honor's death

    I was meaning a more active roll, like the Stormfather is doing his thing and Cultivation shows up and says something to the affect of "Go bond Dalinar." And I think that the only time that the Stormfather says anything really mean was when he realises that Gavilar has only been in this for his own power. He clearly has decided to appraoch bonding differently, however unless you want to say that there is another Bondsmith spren capable of giving the visions I think the Stormfather is the only valid candidate.

    I have to disagree. He can show the visions He has the same goal He has the same speaking patterns and temperment He can tell when a Herald died and recognise Heralds Gavilar was on the path to Bondsmith

    Well, Brandon knows how to break everything. So it seems that the Stormfather is much more reserved with Dalinar than he was with Gavilar. I wonder if he decided to go with Dalinar anyway after Dalinar went to the Nightwatcher. Kelsier was much more involved than I thought, but I think that he was only helpful in bringing Voidlight to Roshar, I don't think he knows about anti-investiture or Pure Tones. THE STORMFATHER CAN LIE! This is really weird for me and I'm not sure how to feel. Also where was Gavilar's PoV for his interaction with Jasnah?

    One thing I find really intresting is that although there have been tons of times The Master Sword has been upgraded, or imbued with power throughout the series, this is the only time the blade had been broken.

    A few problems The spiritual realm cannot be set in stone, otherwise Future sight would be accurate, additionally when two people are looking at the future it creates an endless array of changing possibilities therefore it cannot be predetermined as to what will happen. The God Beyond will never be cannonized

    It would appear I have appologies of my own to make. @Nameless and probably others it would seem Sigzil is no longer in possesion of the Dawnshard and I will concede you are correct. @Propagandist I admit you are correct that The Sunlit Man does not take place in the Threnodite system.
