  1. She's basically immortal at this point and she does have a particular intrest in PoV characters. Such as having Nahz make maps about where Shallan landed after the Winds Pleasure sank, or sketching Bridge four glyphs, interrogating Wax in person. Alerter fabrials, fortune, any number of other invested methods.
  2. There are a couple of problems with this model, first off being that of taking passengers. I'm more inclined to agree that Oathgates are Roshar's FTL. However the quantum nature of spren is definitely mentioned as having possible fabrial ramifications, so there might be something here.
  3. John watched Elya fly out the window, unable to do anything more than watch. He staggered to his feet, spitting the blood running down from his nose out of his mouth. He felt bruised, but nothing was broken, yet. He'd failed another one. Images flashed before him: Thomas, Maximus, Saaphir, and now Elya. she's not dead yet. He told himself. If only he believed it. "Viator, I don't know if you can hear this, but open a portal to space if you can. I'll try to drag him out with me." He would not lose anyone else because of his inability to kill. Even if that meant he had to die too.
  4. Happy birthday feather!

  5. I don't think she was involved, I think she just wanted to see a speed bubble.
  6. If I remember right it's here: https://wob.coppermind.net/entry/4616 Though I can't check right now, I'll try and see by the end of the week.
  7. Because they are commands given by Adonalsium himself. And since The Stormfather is aware of Adonalsium, I have a hard time thinking of him calling one of his acts lesser than that of the shards. Additionally in that same quote he calls it just an ordinary dream.
  8. Yeah, you can burn them too, but that's supposed to be so painful you pass out.
  9. You can also use spikes as metalminds
  10. If it was a Dawnshard that would have counted as of 'gods'
  11. I think that the woman who looked at Marasi was Khriss.
  12. Because all shardmetals are regular metals that have become suffused with Investiture to the point that they can't be considered the same material anymore.
  13. I've seen it suggested that a group of cryptics are leading the Set and that's why the names are all pattern related.
  14. Definitely Odium. Glowing red eyes, return of destruction, giving people immortality, and Gold. Also I love how Trellium is giving different powers with Hemalurgy.
  15. 18 temples. At one point that number would have blown my mind, but now it seems normal.
  16. I was away from home and have been unable to catch more than a talk or two live, and am slowly playing catch up. Dale G. Renlund's Saturday morning talk was incredible.
  17. That head is oddly reminiscent of greatshells.
  18. No, it could not be. Aluminum is an existing metal, if a particular metal held the power of Adonalsium the Investiture would warp it to the point it would become a shardmetal.
  19. Not really, compounding is changing what effect the Investiture gives you, this would be a boost in the powers effect because you have twice the power.
  20. Radiants with regrowth heal faster than those without. I'd assume more powerfully to. And Honorblades are likely the same.
  21. That's not what I said, but I am interested in this line of reasoning.
  22. On the contrary he did have a bond. If you would turn you attention to the section of WoR(roughly page 1010) where Dalinar, Shallan and Kaladin are discussing radiance Dalinar inhales stormlight and says that he's done so before, despite not having said any oaths.
  23. I do. Brandon himself said that Gavilar was on the path to Bondsmith. And The Stormfather literally said that he would not allow himself to be bound immediately before Dalinar swore the second ideal.
  24. He was bonded to Gavilar, at least a little, no matter what he might claim.
  25. I thought that it was him realizing that he's getting close and is trying not to savant.
