    *wallows in anguish* The mail has already come today... and neither Rhythm of War nor my swag arrived Im still super happy about getting to attend the release party! But alas, I’ll have to do it swagless...

    Okay. I basically read the whole book last night. I know, I know, I’m about a week late, but I had a good reason! Well, not really, but that’s not the point. This book was SOOOOO GOOD!!!! The Lopen was by far my favorite part, but everything we learned, about the Dawnshard, about the Sleepless, about Adonalsium, it’s all mind blowing. So happy my cousin convinced me not to wait .

    I just got it as well! Super excited. I may or may not be inviting @Truthless of Shinovar over so we can watch it together . I suppose it’s possible they’ll record it for afterward, but my guess is that it’s just a live event. I don’t know for sure though; someone else may have a better answer.

    Desmund looked up from his nearly finished stew, and blinked. Though he had sensed them arrive, he was still surprised to see several new people at the boardinghouse. Huh. Why didn’t I notice them earlier? I guess this stew was just too captivating. He chuckled quietly at his joke. Desmond took the last chunk of bread dipped it in what was left of the stew. As he moved the bread to his mouth, Desmund’s eyes again fell on the newcomers. There was a man who must have just entered the lobby, and two others standing outside. Miss Temeria was with them, saying something. They both looked very winded. Was something wrong? He couldn’t really tell. The boarding house is certainly more busy than it’s been the last few nights. It seems fate is making sure that I be social this evening. He probably should elicit some small talk. Or wait and let someone come to him. Maybe talk to the women that were here when he came down? Or no, he should see if Miss Temeria and those other two needed any help. He sighed. I’m making this much more complicated than it needs to be. In the end, Desmund decided to just wait and watch for now. Besides. There was still some stew that needed eating. @Sorana @Ashbringer @Rushu42 @Mage @ZincAboutIt @Die_eike

    I’m in the exact same boat . Does anyone know if the swag is supposed to arrive for all participants before the release party? It’d be super fun to wear everything if it gets here in time.

    My good friends. Let me briefly enlighten you.

    The Apollo Pepper is a recent creation. A hybrid between the Carolina Reaper and Pepper X, it is over 2 million units on the Scoville Scale. Currently it is the world’s hottest pepper.

    And tonight I ate Apollo Pepper hot sauce.

      Only 10 minutes???

      I had a pretty spicy pepper once, I don’t know what it was, (someone at lunch literally just asked me if I wanted a really spicy pepper, so naturally, I said yes. Sketchy lunch food is the best lunch food.) it probably wasn’t one of the famously hot ones like the Ghost Pepper or Carolina Reaper or anything, but still very very spicy. My mouth burned for the next 3 hours!

      It was roughly 10 or 15 minutes, though I don’t remember how long exactly. And technically I did it for an activity with my church’s youth group. So it was kind of a joint effort. But yes. I did it willingly :P
