  1. Now, after a full 5 days, I think it's time for me to put my forum knowledge to the test... I am winning (and inningway)
  2. When your teacher makes fun of you for pronouncing it "Elantris" and not "Atlantis".
  3. A.C. apologized and explained that he couldn't figure out how to quote stick without double posting, but did not feel bad for the peanut butter.
  4. A.C. sat down on a rug beside Stick, also eating popcorn, although A.C.'s had peanut butter on it.
  5. Like adding threats that have absolutely nothing to do with the plot. And belching up goop.
  6. lol i really did. Please. continue with your heartfelt, mind-blowing, gut-wrenching narrations.
  7. alright... just wanted to contribute. It's a okay though.
  8. Meanwhile, something strange occurs; something no one expects, which just might change the fabric of the entire thread and force its narrators to band together... Narrator A.C. watches curiously as all of this unfolds. With a thoughtful expression, he asks, "So let me get this straight. You people, and I guess now me, are basically all-powerful story tellers, and some are actually characters in the story that's being told, plus there's an all all powerful storyteller named the Narrator Master of silence, and you all are fighting over the legitimacy of Narratorhood. Neat. Also I feel kind of sick." Narrator A.C. proceeds to belch out a dark, slimy blob in front of him. He quickly jumped back as the sludge began to move and emit an eerie voice. "нeнeнe, нaнaнa, мwaнaнaнaнa!! ғιnally! ι нave ғoυnd тнe realм oғ тнe narraтorѕ! oн yeѕ, ι can ғeel тнe energy, pυlѕιng, ғlowιng тнroυgн everyтнιng нere. тнere ιѕ ѕo мυcн тo ιnғecт, вυт ѕo lιттle тιмe." Suddenly the air around the blob grew dark, and dank. The creature began flowing upward, forming a long, slender shape. Slowly, arms sprouted out of its sides, and legs underneath it. A head formed on goopy shoulders as it solidified into a man. And yet, it wasn't a man. The thing's skin was black as the void, and writhed as if snakes slithered underneath. It wore a pinstriped suit, and had red, lifeless eyes. "ι ѕυppoѕe ι мυѕт тнanĸ yoυ вoy, ғor provιdιng мe тнe мeanѕ тo coмe нere." The thing raised its hand, which Changed into slime and shot out at and engulfed Narrator A.C.'s neck, lifting him off the ground. A.C. spluttered, barely managing to release a weak plead for help. Other tendrils sprang out of the thing's back, striking the air and pulling characters from the void. Any unlucky enough to be forced through is smothered in slime... A new evil finds its way into the thread, one that threatens its whole existence. What is this creatures goal? It will stop at nothing until the thread is obliterated, along with everything in it... Ack!! What happens next?!?!
  9. Ha I get it. I forgot to mention that I have also read the rithmatist. Narrator A.C. immediately rethinks his rebellious manor. This "Star" person does not seem like the type to laugh at disfigured chalk circles.
  10. "Do you mean thiiiiiiiiis line?" Narrator A.C. says as he scoots his foot over a chalk line to his right.
  11. Narrator A.C. stares at these people and is very, very confused. "You know what. I popped into this place out of nowhere, woke up beside a dead body, and witnessed lawn chair statue be created, destroyed, and created again. But I'm just gonna roll with it. Where do I sign up?" He then goes on to shake everyone's hands and make a community rubber chicken dispenser as goodwill.
  12. Eventually, the new narrator gained consciousness and sat up, muttering, "Woah. I just had the weirdest...aw fiddlesticks." His face went back and forth as he took in his surroundings, until he asked, "Umm, why is there a dead person laying beside me? Some of their blood got on my arm..."
  13. Suddenly, as the fight continues and the narrators begin discussing very import matters such as pop tarts, duels, and bee movies, something very strange occurs. Pinpricks of light begin to pop into vision, dotting the air around them. As more begin to appear, they are slowly drawn to one spot in the air, as if they were all flowing down an invisible drain. The dots of light begin to get brighter as they coalesce into a large form near the center of the group. Soon, the narrators have no choice but shade their eyes and look away, lest they burn their eyes. Yet they cannot protect their other senses from the volley of energy. A low rumbling begins, quickly rising to a roaring crescendo. The ground heaves to and fro, pushing and pulling as if they were giant magnets. Even smell and taste are not safe, as a barrage of seemingly everything from the world and beyond forces itself into their mouths and noses. With panic rising in each one's mind, the group tries to flee, but to no avail. The very atoms in their bones refuse to work, and they have no choice but to fall to the ground and hope they will survive. Suddenly, they begin to feel the chaos around them move. Only inches at first, but it quickly moves faster, soon travelling miles in a second as it rushes back to the point where it originated. With the tumult no longer holding their bodies, the narrators timildly raise their heads, and witness as the former maelstrom compresses into the form of a man. As his features become more visible, they observe a thin, yet handsome and rugged man in his prime years, with a pair of spectacles resting on his long nose. He falls to his knees, and his head lolls on his shoulders. Then, as his eyes crack open slowely, he lifts his chin and says, "Wh...where am I? What is this place? And why does it smell like beans?" Then he fell forward, unconscious. Ya that's me just in case you're wondering.
  14. Does anyone have any threads they would recommend? I like this one but I believe I need to broaden my horizons.
  15. Oh yes. Oh yes. Once you join the fold... there is no escape! bum, bum, BUUUUUUUUUUUM! (oh and just on a side note, I have read all three stormlight books, all six mistborn books, skyward, and books one through five in the wheel of time (I know that one might not count but I thought I should let you all know). After finishing book six, which I'm on right now, I plan to read Elantris. Warbreaker is on its way in the mail, and after that is Arcanum unbounded! I'd say my favorite book was probably The Way of Kings, although it's been a little while.)
  16. No no, what may seem like a disease could actually be a leech on your forearm that gives you magical powers. -clears throat- OH GREAT AND POWERFUL SHARDGUARD. PLEASE ENLIGHTEN US WITH THE MAGICAL WORKINGS OF BOOKFACE AND HIS PARTNER TWEETER. TELL US: HOW FARE"S THIS WORLD THAT WE CANNOT REACH?
  17. Well Cool! I didn't really expect so many people to respond to that! I think by now that cookie is a liiiiitle stale, so I'll just keep it on my shelf.
  18. Hey there everybody! I am very excited to start this forum thing. Unfortunately I understand only about a third of what I've seen so far, but that's no biggie! It can't be that hard, right? I mean, I have no experience in social media either, so this is all very new to me. BUT. I will learn. Ignorance is only a small speed bump in the highway of life, and I'm going a solid 12 mph right now, so I think I'll be good. I don't think I will be on here SUPER often, but I will do my best. After all, school is hard, and I'm one of those people who usually stays up till midnight studying. And speaking of which, I will have you know TRUTHLESS OF SHINOVAR, that I have been at school all day, and literally made my account like 17 hours ago, so give me a break. Plus you haven't even really explained to me what I'm supposed to do on here. All I know that I can do is post a "topic", change my profile picture, and give people points (although I've only half figured out that part). But it is okay. I forgive you for being hasty, and pardon you for all your sins. Including the time you dumped a bowl of spaghetti on my head (hehe that actually never happened, but no one on here knows that). Okay. I think that's all I have to say for now, so if you don't mind i'm going to go study for the next four and a half hours. Oh yea P.S., The Cosmere rocks.
  19. I was introduced to E  C O S R about a year ago by my cousin and best friend (You may know him on here as Truthless of Shinovar), and I'm excited to try out this whole forum thing! I kind of live under a rock, so this is my first time doing anything like this; I've heard of forums, but I might need help figuring out how it works. It seems kinda like a large community blog? But you know what, I'm not even quite sure I know what a blog does either, so I guess this'll be an adventure! Any who, I can't wait to find out what everyone's saying about Brandon Sanderson's books and join the party!
