Leona debated whether or not to get her side checked. It was healing, and the bleeding had stopped, which was usually a good sign. But what about internal damage- nevermind, those who needed treatment more than her should get it.

I feel like Roshar is advancing in different directions than Earth has/is/did. In terms of energy, they're pretty much set. Transportation across large distances is simplified by the Oathgates. WoB on synthetic gemstones But how long would it take them to create those? Here, the earliest synthetics were in the late 1800s and basically involved melting powders. There's a lot of different methods, but some of them require things that Roshar definitely does not have (vacuum chambers). We don't know how advanced their chemistry is. They could still be looking for gold from lead or the elixir of life.

I'm a violist... What do you call someone who hangs around with musicians What's the range of a viola? What's the difference between a viola and a coffin? What do a viola and a lawsuit have in common? What's the difference between a violin and a viola?

Shirts. Alethi glyphs tend to show some of the phonemes they are made up of. Shirt sizes, I am convinced, are chosen by drunk monkeys throwing darts after a night in town. -
I feel like Mistborn and maybe Warbreaker would do well as movies. Stormlight I would like to see as a TV show. Soundtracks? I would prefer orchestral, but I could understand why one would want pop songs in the trailers. Get people interested. But an original theme is so much better. Star War's opening soundtrack is one of the most famous. Marvel's The Avengers has a recurring one as well. Wait. Better idea The soundtrack for all the Cosmere movies is just Kaladin badly playing the flute.

So long as I get Rythym of War before 2021, I'll be happy. It'll be a long year and a half, but I have other books to read and other authors to badger. (PATRICK ROTHFUSS. GRR MARTIN, SCOTT LYNCH, IM LOOKING AT YOU)- 576 replies

The Knights Next Prequel is a roleplay set in 70's Europe, focusing on the events of the Cold War. Rules/guidelines/random setting things: The two primary magics are the Metallic arts (Allomancy, Feruchemy, and Hemalurgy), and the Sellish magics. The perpendicularities are all connected/in one place. The plot will focus on the separation of these. They are in an unknown location NATO higherups know about investiture and send investiture users on espionage missions into the USSR The countries that make up NATO keep the knowledge of magic to themselves. Civilians demonstrating the ability to use investiture are immediately conscripted The USSR probably knows about investiture, but NATO isn't quite sure yet You can play anyone on either side Normal RP rules apply All 16 allomantic metals are in play. Lerasium and atium are only known as myths, but NATO has a team dedicated to finding them in an attempt to make super-supersoldiers Anyone with knowledge about the cold war, please let me know if any of this seems off/anachronistic. History will be followed closely, but dates of things may change. NATO is probably more of a military organization here than it was in actual history You can have as many characters as you want, provided they are all well-rounded and contribute something useful IT is currently 1972 Character sheets: Use the ones from TKND. Characters: Bookish - Asger Sorana - Wita Itiah - Marcel Wyndle - Charles Dapper - Quinn
