"I will do my best to distract the beast while you attack," Chinkoln says, trying and failing to sound confident. "I may be annoying, but I will protect those in need. Fadran, it is your job to hit it with a big stick while I dodge. Otters aren't very offensive in direct confrontations, we generally wear it down and run away, or wear it down and then die because we failed."

"You might be, but are you OCD, dyslexic, ADHD, ADD, and TMS?" Chinkoln replied, as he lazily ambled over to the door. He opened it and walked out. He stepped into a puddle and let everyone gape in amazement as it formed into a slide that he rode in the direction that they were running. "You may proceed to worship me."

"Well for starters, I'm an otter, so I can contort my body and be acrobatic. I can time travel, but I have my own rules so I won't be doing much of that for you. You may have noticed me come out of the glass of water that you were drinking from moments before. I can travel through water, but I have to follow the rules so I can't just go grab your friend and leave. My main talent is being an otter, so nobody hurts me. I was once in the middle of a fight and both sides stopped and just looked at me until I scratched off their faces and ran away with their wallets. Also, I can cook really good fish stew. Did I mention that I'm an otter? I might be able to do other things, but it would break your feeble mind if I told you everything."

I believe they invented the "backspace" key for that very reason. -

Granted, each hour only has 42.352 minutes. I wish for infinite boons that retroactively work to remove all of my banes. -
What is your opinion on COVID-19? If you keep quiet about it, I can show you... you know what...

Well, let’s look at our universe. We have thousands of astronomers, scientists, and space probes looking out into the stars for new planets, meteors, stars, and any other celestial body. We have been looking for hundreds of years, getting more and more advanced the entire time. We have military grade telescopes and we still find new planets EVERYDAY! Now let’s look at a new universe, we will call it the Cosmere. They have few astronomers and little technology. Only a few planets that we know of are inhabited. The inhabitants don’t care about the stars, they care about surviving a few more years because all of these planets have messed up societies. These people don’t know about many planets, especially not a specific one that could be anywhere in the entire Cosmere. The handful of people that MIGHT know where this one planet is, aren’t telling or giving hints. Now, on top of the uncaring people, the people who aren’t going to tell, and the prospect of finding not a needle in a haystack, a needle in a country piled high with hay, there is something else. This one, tiny little needle/planet can use magic that makes illusions. Also a dragon lives there. Does that answer your question?

For Hoid, if something is partially functional then, he can make it work. He has had a couple of thousand years to master using it.

I never knew this existed! Well, here I am. -
I'm not sure, I hate graphic novels so I haven't read that (I am really sad to miss out on something written by Brandon, but I just can't stand graphic novels) but I thought I heard that somewhere. Isn't that what he was doing in OB when he was telling the story of the moon and the Natanan people when Shallan found him.

What I don’t get is why he needed to bond a cryptic. He already had Lightweaving from Yolen and Taldain, he already has access to more healing than we can imagine, so unless he wants to soulcast, being a Lightweaver is useless to him. If he did want to soulcast then it seems that Elsecaller would be better for him because then he can hop between realms more easily, something he has had trouble with in the past (see Mistborn: Secret History).

Well, aluminum is a special case in all forms of Investiture in the Cosmere, so of course it is exempt, but what else do you refer to?
