  1. It is probably a correctional across a large population samples that does not mean that it is exactly true on an individual level. Each return could be a horribly traumatic event but perhaps some fused are better then others at dealing with it.
  2. I ran out of reputation to give people on this thread. How the Orders read Windruner: Has a sappy side but will never admit it. Lightweaver: Loves mystery novels but is to good at figuring out the endings so gets frustrated. Tuethwatcher: Has read everything and is happy to give you a recommendation. Stoneward: Exclusively reads from one genera. Skybreaker: Has no time for frivolity and restricts reading to the rule books. Bondsmith: Reads works by everyone in the hope that it will bring them understanding of others. Elsecaller: Restricts reading to serious works that improve the mind. Dustbringer: Gets highly frustrated if the book they are reading does not contain an explosion every two pages. Edgedancer: Reads works by obscure and long forgotten artists. Willshaper: Enjoys fantasy. Brandon Sanderson is a favorite author.
  3. You think that Cap is Rayse and Bavadin is Thor?
  4. I always thought that Honor used his power to hold back Odium via binding, his main ability. My main question is what weakened him enough that Odium was able to shatter him exactly when he did.
  5. But they only knew how to speak the words of dawnchant because a specific devotary had passed them down via oral tradition prior to them being written down.
  6. I don't know how to do the hidden content thing The Doc's powers are highly versatile I think given enough time to research he could find a way to beat CM
  7. I thought that all of the dawnchant fragments where preserved via oral tradition.
  8. The fused so far have died less then a few dozen times (once per desolation) if Odium expends them to much he could rapidly deplete the number of sane forces he has at his disposal especially because the fused will be more reckless as they assume that they can just be reborn.
  9. I think we are confusing evil with dangerous, the qualities that make Kelsier effective are also the ones that make him someone none of us what as a neighbor. Kelsier's qualities controlled and channeled effectively are literal lifesavers for many people. Provided he can keep himself controlled I am willing to say that he is a good person.
  10. According to Descarte our existence is the one thing that we can be confident in.
  11. I would not call a king staggering around drunk norma as we see Jez in the prequall. We also know that Nale was still tracking down and killing KR and that I am fairly sure that Tukar was already at war with Emul thanks to Ishar. The way I see it the Heralds are all insane they have just started acting more erratically because they know the consequences of their actions are catching up to them
  12. Odium civil war!
  13. The stormfather says that each rebirth injures their minds further. Also their may be a large number of singers who are not willing or able to become a fused if the fused push to hard to get more bodies they might have a singer rebellion on their hands.
  14. This would not work. It would be like trying to fly by standing on your own foot.
  15. The only problem with this is that Jasnah can recover from some pretty serious damage, can sort of teleport (maybe) and also has impressive defensive options. Still if Kaladin can crack her plate and get a hit in then she might not have enough stormlight to both repair the wound and get away via teleportation or elsecalling.
  16. It also means that starting fires is much easier and that they will be extraordinarily hard to stop. Even harder at high pressures.
  17. That is more likely a result of socity's prejudice then a reflection of the Herlad's importance.
  18. The fused could have taken the city but they could not have held it. Shardbearers can't hold ground remember?
  19. It could just be artistic (because vorins feel the symmetry is holy).
  20. Unless Brandon is nice enough to give us a fair avengers style fight between the two parties I agree that their is no way we will ever come to consensus as to who would win. (Fingers crossed that this happens by the way it would be amazing.) Even if we do get a fight we could argue endlessly about various factors that make said fight fair or unfair so it might not be conclusive. I would love it if we somehow fond some kind of evidence that would settle the debate for us but that is never going to happen so it is fine to agree to disagree. This is a page of speculation not absolute truth as long as we are careful in our research and respectful of each other I think that we will benefit from this discussion. As to air pressure we don't need ozone to make a environment highly flammable. Fire will burn faster and higher in any high atmosphere area. (Try getting a fire started at a room temperature mount Everest and you will be disappointed as their is not enough oxygen to sustain such a reaction). The inverse of that means if it dangerously easy to start a fire in a high pressure environment which is why submarines have extensive fire safety measures.
  21. Odium can see the future and using Nale has other issues. First of all if Odium slips up or if Nale comes to a realization then he might change sides this makes his loyalty uncertain. Also Odium's shardic intent might be influencing him whereby he finds Moash a more attractive candidate. He has expressed contempt for Nale before. Finally we don't know what Odium's ultimate plan for Moash is we just assume that he is going to be Oduim's champion.
  22. I can't answer because I am not Brandon but I assume it has to do with changing your name. IE if husband takes wife's name he gets talent.
  23. Granted you now have a German. Shepherd. I wish for the ability to do math problems quickly.
  24. Why would Sja-ahnat betray Odium to people who were doomed?
