    I believe we have confirmation that Dalinar's overcharging of Kaladin is actually a different power. He is not opening the perpendicularity in that case.

    I can see that making a shard of Vengeance or conquest but I am not sure how a Honor+Odium combo is much better then what we have now.

    Agreed. We have no evidence that the attributes actually mean anything mechanically. I think along similar lines but slightly different. I don't see the Heralds as errecting a prison I think they are more like an anchor. They trap the fused by pulling them against Braize using Honor's power. It might be worse then that. If they tap too much they could pull out the investiture that Honor used to trap Odium himself. I think next to that all other problems are moot.

    Yes and we have several WoBs too but from what we know era 3 will involve massive spaceships that go FTL by manipulating Temporal metals.

    What illusion? Sazed literally published the TRUTH about what happened during era 1 for all to read. Marsh has to the best of our knowledge never inflicted pain on an innocent for no reason.

    What? Marsh was the one who hated Kelseir's indiscretions when it came to killing noblemen. He agread to help take down Reshek because he thought it was the right thing to do. He had no choice in the matter. He did not want to become one. Marsh and Harmony don't always agree but Marsh is(or was) a man of compassion. I cannot see him threatening civilization in order to force it to evolve.

    Are you saying that the Radiant's might steal divine attribute from the Heralds? Their are two divine attributes per Herald as I understand it and how do 5th Oath Radiants upset the balance?

    Hm. I hope not. It also does not fit in with the Set and their goals. The Set seem more interested in keeping Tech out of the hands of everyday people. Its not like they are publishing their experiments with Hemalurgy in Scientific Elendian. Posting results widely seems much more likely to speed up scientific advancement.

    Also they were afraid that their powers could be used to destroy Roshar. Also the Radiants as a group practiced acting morally constantly even if they had different ideas about what that meant. These were super conscientious people.

    Dalinar has already rejected Odium. I can't see him picking it up now. Cultivation still holds her own power so you would have to convince her to give it up and Honor has been splintered exactly how is Dalinar going to fix that? Evidence please?

    At the same time why would you need to? Batteries might make sence as stealth tech on Scadrial and Roshar because seekers can't find them but for day to day use investiture makes more sense.

    I personally think that he gave it to Szeth for a number of reasons but the main one is so that Szeth can have the capacity to kill him permanently if needed.

    Taravangian is quite passionate. Humans are not creatures without emotions. Did you not hear his declaration to Dalinar. "And I would weep every day for having done it." Do you think the actions he is undertaking are not reflective of an individual who deeply feels? Even Odium finds his passion impressive. Taravangian would like to be perfectly logical but he can't be. This is part of what makes him so interesting.
