    No, I agree that that is what happened. I just see no reason why it had to happen that way. Perhaps if it had occurred during a different time or if more or less"shattering force" was used A could have broken into a different number of Shards

    Indeed, but those are the political ramifications. If no one believes, there would only be personal ramifications Dalinar, Jasnah, and Navani I am sure would love to pick his brain. I can see Dalinar in particular coming to depend on his advice. Taln seems like the type he would like to have Yes but if no one believes then everyone is going to act like Dalinar is insane or potentially blasphemous.

    While that's true, it not relevant to what was being discussed. There's a difference between things that exist with the scope of a single Shard and the subjectivity of whether two Shards have merged or not. Is there? I see no reason (other then methodology) why A could not have broken into 32 shards at the shattering. I don't realy see anything special about a shard. It is just the piece of investiture a vessel happened to get the way he broke.

    Excuse me for speaking metaphorically. Skybreakers are generally sworn to uphold the laws of the lands they reside in(to my understanding) the only place to find an unbound spren is Shadesmar where to laws are created by spren. Your other option is going to be spiking another Radiant's spren(love to see how that terns out).

Now as to your question I personally have also wondered if it is possible to get pregnant if you are tapping healing at the time my instinct says you can't. As to other bodily functions. Shallan still gets her "friendly reminder to have children" (although she does not have stormlight when this happens) however it is implied that Lift also suffered menstruation when she hit puberty and she has constant access to healing. This implies that you still suffer conditions that you deem part of yourself so you would likely still get morning sickness even with double gold healing. I also doubt you could speed up pregnancy. Someone else will likely follow with a better and more thorough explanation.

    You two are forgetting something. These spren are sapient. They most likely also have made laws governing how they are to be treated and how they treat each other. Besides which my statement was mostly metaphorical as "that's going to catch up to you."
