  1. Some of this might be possible however I think that just as stealrunners are not protected against atmospherics(only g forces) firesouls might have resistance against there one heat but I think that their skin combusting would still hurt them.
  2. That is probably a more accurate example of what is happening.
  3. I know and thank you however just because you are supporting my argument does not mean that I should encourage inaccuracy or inconstancy. There is enough false or potentially false information in the world as is. I agree that the example you provided might be relevant but we don't yet know.
  4. I don't think your comparison is valid. Wax's exploits are a matter of public record because as a law man he is expected to file reports that the public can review. IE when he started he would have to tern in his captives with his name to claim the bounty. The kind of deep cover you are suggestion simply does not seem practical. If he wants to avoid public scrutiny I am sure that the Teris Elders would hide him. Also we don't know how fereuchemy manifests but it seems like it happens fairly young so someone should have found out about it(like Wax's grandmother whose job it is to found out this stuff).
  5. Coinshot and skimmer called crasher actually. I think this is incorrect. Larger caliber rounds carry more energy as momentum = mass*velocity. Also think about the recoil and stopping power of a bazooka vs that of a .22. I do agree however that plate would stand up to guns fairly well and that many people underestimate its strength. In my mind you are going to need something built to stop a tank to actually have confidence of killing a shardbearer.
  6. Not exactly what I meant. I was thinking if you got 30 smokers togeather and had them all flare their metal while standing in a circle. Someone in that circle would be immune to emotional alomancy.
  7. Considering we don't know much about what materials are available to either army I see no reason why the Radinats could not have a significant amount of Stormlight. I would also like to point out that the 7 Radiants(three of the 10 did nothing in the battle) were not fully realized. Most of them were at the third ideal. Finally there is Lanchester’s Law. Those Radiants were outnumbered by orders of magnitude and had several different objectives which meant they were split up and much easier to overwhelm. Dalinar says that an individual shardbearer with the element of surprise could break his entire army to the point where they would have to retreat(the Rift). Adolin and one freind during WoR kill a good couple hundred Parshendi and neither of them can surgebind. We have never seen a large number of Radiants go to war.
  8. Considering Szeth's reaction to Kaladin's Windrunner status and the fact that Ivory(who is a spren and as such would know) says that 9 of 10 orders are dead. I am going to say no.
  9. Even if aluminum can trap all of the CS in there they can probably get out by for example just causing heat until the the aluminum melts. They don't have to heat the metal directly. They can heat the air inside the box. They will eventually find an aluminum sheath and some specially trained fused will get Nightblood.
  10. I would like to take the time to find the right WoB(or maybe a latter addition of BoM) but I belive that enough copperclouds can block emotional allomancy if you get a dense enough coppercloud(enough smokers in one place all flaring their metal). They might be able to at least resist it by sucking in stormlight. WoBs indicate that a GodKing could shrug off TLRs soothing just by having a dense enough investiture.
  11. You are not and have not offended me. I am just pressed for time and like to keep of with the community here. Keeping up with multiple threads that are updated daily takes time and formulating complicated responses often takes more. It generally makes sense for me to be curt with my replies. I try to be as clear as possible but that is not always an option.
  12. Steris will be an excellent shot.
  13. Only if taken together. Yes that is what I meant.
  14. Because their knock off LR lives there, because Khriss spends most of her time there, because we know nothing about there and because all of the earliest worldhoppers seem to be Darksiders not Daysiders. In fact to the best of my knowledge we have seen no Daysider worldhopers.
  15. Or just build the tunnels so that the entrances are the lowest points.
  16. I personally am pretty sure that Taldain has a perpendicularity somewhere on Darkside.
  17. These are more significant. True.
  18. That is less of a total war but sure.
  19. Great thinking. Unfortunately I don't think that will work. Due to Roshar's unique ecology food grows faster and more densely and there is no off season(like an earth winter) and diseases are much rarer. There is also a wide medical knowledge base in many places(Wisdom of the Heralds). Roshar also has a large number of wide scale wars that continuously chopped back the population(first the desolations then the Shin invasions then the hirocracy, and then the War of Loss and Sunmaker genocides).
  20. Maybe the Stonewards could build some tunnels that connect different parts of Roshar and allow safe wide scale travel.
  21. Or just become a professional famous person.
  22. Particularities are not the only source of investiture in any given planet. It could easily be just about anywhere.
  23. Spanreads also seem to work through the spiritual realm. Aluminum blocks all investature and investature interferes with investiture. Or they can just take one or two risks under controlled circumstances to determine the effectiveness of their powers. May I point out that a god Ruin himself could not do better? But you can't make new crossbows. Radiants have spren that can navigate for them. They actually do have a method of physically getting to the CR. Also try chasing down 5 identical people at the same time.
