This is just my take but I think he is referring to what "birth" must be like to a Sleepless. The process might feel a lot like being ostracized from your safe community and thrown into the wide world on your own.

Assuming Rysn does her job well this buys them another half century. This gives the sleepless that time to come up with another plan. They could train a replacement, get her to a time dilatation area(like silverlight), manufacture their own, or even give responsibility back to the Larkin(Chiri should be mature by then). She does not have to be immortal.

Not really. Harold B Lee Library at Brigham Young University has a few copies but they are not easily accessible.

Bondsmith according to WoB. This probably means adhesion. Yes and no respectively. Jasnah seems to have as well. If you are not heavily invested in certain ways(which most people are) you can go through the CR from planet to planet with relative ease. Probably not. She finds him annoying. -

I have been thinking about this for a while but does anyone else find this "smart" Taravangian way less intimidating then his old "stupid" self? Sure it is partially that his cover is blown but I think it is more that this new version is not particularly adept at understanding people the way he used to be. His old self's words and belifes had a deep effect on Dalinar. His new self just seems to go for shock value like a Bond villain.

No. You can't lash someone else when they are in plate. The Windrunner's own armor worked fine as it was keyed correctly to their identity.

Ishar is easily the most dangerous of the Heralds. Not just because of his personal capabilities but because of just how unpredictable he is. What he is doing and why I have absolutely no idea.

It looks like stage one of the fused plan is complete. Dalinar and Jasnah will be out of the tower. Raboniel's infiltration team is readying itself. Now all they need is a good opportunity.

Military reasoning. Right now they need air support. Also they have a large number of potential windrunners who can't find spren. We don't know about that condition for any other group of radiants.

What the hell happened to the tower's suppression? Finally aluminum is confirmed. Dalinar and Navani are adorable.

I wondered about this a lot. It might by that Rua is mute or the spren equivalent although I personally think it has to do with the nature of her bond with Lopen. Kaladin is and Syl are both educated articulate and prefer language. Rua and I suppose Timbre do not.

I had the same thought back when the chapter first came out. However now I am less sure as Navani would almost certainly be clued in on who the sleepless were by the time of the spanreed conversation. -
