  1. Originally this post was about people's favourite order but morphed into what order they are most like. I did this quiz and told me I was an Edgedancer. So one of my favourites I'm also like. But I still really like the truthwatchers
  2. Renarin is an important character as stated by Sanderson somewhere... but he might die afterwards ;-; Please don't wish such a violent death on the precious child, he has done nothing to deserve it ;-;
  3. It's all g! I usually write so fast along with my dyslexia, I dont often make sense but when I do make sense. That is a good day.
  4. I'm seeing a lot of interest in Venli and willshapers! I think it will be really cool to see the moment Venli earns her shardblade. Also hopefully we get more information about the orders to we have more of a mix but I'm so happy everyone isn't just sticking to what we know!
  5. This sounds about right. Jasnah wouldn’t let herself be a victim or easily swayed by another opinion so not having is “cheapened” would allow the plot line to evolve into something ideal. Note. When I said practiced what they preach I meant something along the lines of they said they’d help her but didn’t. I just couldn’t think of how to describe it.
  6. Granted though they don't want to be your friend or get to know you. I wish I can become best friends with my favourite fictional characters
  7. This looks very likely. Especially the mention on how they treat people with mental illness like Taln shows they don't practice what they preach (or anyone actually), so it would make perfect sense if this was the case. Then it would explain why Jasnah became a heretic at a young age
  8. Okay I like this answer, it makes the most sense and fits with the writing style and character
  9. I think the whole Shallan "who hurt you" was mostly because she didn't understand Jasnah's moral compass. I'm open to all ideas but I don't think Sanderson would go that way. His books have never really gone down that road.
  10. Can I just say thank you to my two follows! :)

  11. I just realised something, Jasnah was running unnaturally fast during the battle that even Renarin couldn't keep up. Running is a type of motion plus Shallan kept always missing her in the WoKs so maybe she could have improved the speed of the ship she was on without the crews knowing?
  12. I relate to this, this is why I am conflicted because I feel like I would be a truthwatcher and I really like that order but I also fit with the edgedancers. I have a new view on Skybreakers so understand why some people may like that order but anyway Thank you for sharing!
  13. Yes this times infinity!
  14. I wasn't arguing that isn't how you write kids, I just saying that is how kids act which makes sense why she is annoying. If anything I agree with you... (the tables have turned (referring to other post))
  15. I don't mind her but her insistence that her Spren is a voidbringer and referring to her powers as awesomeness gets a bit repetitive but i guess she is a kid and that is what kids do
  16. That added to the conversation more than you think XD plus some comedy that we all deserved
  17. Oh we do agree. Sorry I read that completely wrong for some reason. Please forgive me.
  18. I agree with this a lot but I don't think it was labelled insanity because it was so out of line but because she had a genuine reaction. I also found a quote that said something like perception is an illusion and she relates it to herself but she was talking to Shallan about it
  19. That's really cool @Eluvianii I wish there was more about each order but that is how Sanderson keeps us coming back!
  20. Could it be possible that she learnt something that was too much for her to handle at such a young age that it rattled her so much that it drove her to insanity? Could it be her questioning her faith and realising how "fake" (can't think of a better word) it was, making her lose a sense of self or feeling alone. Because maybe her madness was caused by a sudden depressive episode. (It would make sense with her image that she constantly maintains to a point that Shallan becomes jealous.) I don't know if I remember it clearly but she says something about people talking about her behind her back because she was a heretic. Implying she was young when she decided to forgo Vorinism. In the spoiler tag, I have written the moment I'm thinking of when she says this.
  21. TRUTHWATCHERS! Same dude but I want more before I can commit. However in reference to your hidden comment
  22. @RShara Is it when she officially meets Ivory or could it be like what happened with Shallan? She saw "them" in a mirror but not pattern. However I do think this theory has merit, I'm not too informed about Jasnah to give an exact answer but seems valid
  23. @Blessed peace you and @Sorana both like elsecallers! You guys should discuss how your surges work because Sorana has opened my mind about them
  24. Granted you get pancakes but each pancake you have will taste like it is overloaded with salt I wish for more time
  25. I'll message you tomorrow about it. I'll probs find some about renarin (since he can relate) and Shallan and see how it goes. I'm hoping for a positive feedback on this method of teaching characterisation
